He didn't stay in his lane. That's what's expected of you when you're a celebrity, that you stay in your lane and play a part. He wanted a different part in the play, AND he got that part, and now the other actors despise him for it.

Trump stepped out his rich man class and tried to get into the next level up.

Trying to run a nation like a classic corportist is just asking to be picked on by the rich and powerful.

I guess you missed the Obama Hate, Clinton Hate, Bush Hate, but only seem to see the Trump hate.

All Presidents are hated by some of the American public. Usually by the ones who voted against them in the last election.

Oh, and the Biden Hate.

...
The bush years are a different story and it kept getting worse from there.

Right around the time of social media .

This is actually a valid point.

Yeah yeah I know your opinion of Trump, but I think overall Follywood was OK with Obama. There were a few conservative actors and musicians that spoke out against Obama's policies, but nothing like we've seen with Trump.

And why pity him, he's rich, has a beautiful wife, beautiful family, and he's not a moron....he DOES have a problem controlling his temper and WAS unprofessional at times while POTUS, but considering how he was treated from BEFORE Day One...I give him a better rating than Dubya.

Dubya WAS an idiot and 9/11 happened on his watch, worse President ever....unless Joek keeps taking orders from Ex President Corn Flake...

You still don't get a chicken dinner but you gave an honest answer so you get a 2 piece dark meat with a biscuit.

Trump couldn’t be bought. That is all there is to it.
Other posters here aren’t keeping it real. The news was 24/7 Trump hate for 4 years. Russiagate. Ice cream gate. Ukrainegate. Then russiagate again.
The closest before that was GWB but it wasn’t even close and look how the media respects him now.
Trump couldn’t be bought and gave the common man a glimpse of what its like when the government is for the people.
What gets me is when posters on here debate why he did it.
As if they know what’s in his heart.
As if ANY politician EVER did any good out of the goodness of his heart.
“But the orange man just did it just for his legacy.” These people are losers and Trump called out people like them. Because they need to be called out.

I think it was more obvious as the extreme left make a lot of noise.

I’ve never really liked any US president but being conservative just stayed quiet and concentrate more on policy over persona.

Trump was the first President in my lifetime that dared to speak his mind, dared to challenge the media, big tech, big pharma. When you make those three entities your enemy then it’s inevitable the narrative will paint you as a devil. President Trump was taken down for having balls, a white man in a world brainwashed by pseudo socialists that think gender is something you decide based on feelings. In their mind the Capitalist system he stands for needs to be torn down, they tell me so from their comfortable multi million pound condo on their iMacs and iPhones before popping out to some trendy bar to cry about how unfair life is while sipping cocktails and paying with daddy’s credit card.

This entire thread should have ended with this post! There is nothing more accurate and salient to be said. Period!

Well done!

ETA - In fact, countless mind-numbing posts on ATS could be completely shut down with these exact words. I don't think I've ever seen a post here on ATS where so much was said, in so few words, which had as much meaning and/or was more succinct!

Yes Trump does have a huge pair of guts.

And yes to everything else you said, I'm glad someone sees it for what it is.

Republicans and democrats hated him.

But did Trump call Germany his homeland?

I personally believe Obama was born in Hawaii.

I also believe he's an intellectual idiot and that's why he paid to have his college records sealed.

Thank you for comment.

Hillary was supposed to win. Everyone knew it. It like they knew they had the votes.

But she didn’t.

Trump did and the news agencies went wild with despair. They attacked him from the start and our own government started the investigations and impeachment’s. They never let up because he was not supposed to president.

They double downed on their ability to manipulate the election to get Biden in office. They learned from the fiasco of Hillary losing and made sure the 2nd time around they got it right by the mass dumping of votes overnight in key states.

Trump was not supposed to president. That’s why he was attacked from day one and disrespected to this day. Luckily his following has not given up.

Imagine if Ross Perot had won. Trump might've been appreciated more.

And America IS more of a corporation than a country.

And Americans are buyers, sellers, and product all rolled up into one.

Yeah, and Trump lied. Like usual.

He even apologized for it.

And Obama is a US citizen and double term President who didn't have anyone indicted in his administration and wasn't impeached twice.

Don't forget the Pee Pee bed lie.

The things MSM reported on while Trump was POTUS is just plain ridiculous. MSM proved once and for all, they are our enemy, just like Trump called it.

And you know, it was worth it. I was clueless to what a RINO was until Trump shook their tree.

I believe this as fact.

Which should make everyone, even democrats, question where the balance of power lies.

They double downed on their ability to manipulate the election to get Biden in office. They learned from the fiasco of Hillary losing and made sure the 2nd time around they got it right by the mass dumping of votes overnight in key states.

Yes, they seeded the vote too early because they mistakenly thought waiting to seed the vote would result in America smelling a rat. By the time 2020 rolled around they no longer cared if America smelled a rat, they knew no one would do anything about it. So, they waited for the totals to be all but certain, and then started dumping fraudulent votes where they strategically needed to.

Trump was not supposed to be president. America should re-read these words very carefully!! America, democrats, republicans and independents alike, should all re-read these words and contemplate them with great diligence. The word "supposed" means someone ELSE is deciding who is 'supposed' to be president...and it is NOT the American people!!

That's so true. You can't but have witnessed all the TDS (that remains) and seen some really laughable behavior, even feel twinges of pity for those so apoplectic over a whole lot of nothing. I thoroughly oppose the likes of Creepy Joe, et al, but am never going to be deranged by it. There's all sorts of nonsense in this world. If people want to crap their beds, knock yourself out, just don't do it in mine, all I expect. And if temporary things, people that are also going to be dead, soon enough, as well as the horse they rode in on, maybe even their empire, if lame posteriored degenerates are actually getting free rent in your mind, such that there are angry episodes of derangement, blood pressure or gastric issues, this indeed is a personal problem that speaks to lack of rationality and maturity, mental and spiritual. It's become a real bore, but I already got a lot of popcorn time, just seeing all the stupid things liberals are saying these days, funnier and better than the imaginary Bizarro World of a Superman comic. If liberals want to burn down Portland, let them have an Ashes Capital. I wasn't calling a travel agent anytime soon, as in ever, anyway.

As a conservative I have always respected the office, if not the man.

There was substantial disrespect for Bill Clinton. During the Monica era, we used to sit at a local watering hole and tell Clinton jokes until I thought I was going to wet myself.

From my point of view, things went down hill when the US intelligence community got involved. The two Trump impeachment’s were obviously BS of the highest order. I feel the charges on the first one was drummed up by members of the NSA. The second impeachment I don’t even remember what the charges were.
The hateful approach to his family is unforgivable. The wife and son should of been off limits.

I’m not happy with Biden or Harris and quite frankly neither one commands much respect. So I guess it’s time for more jokes about Hiden Biden and Heels up Harris. Sorry I couldn’t help myself.

This, this, THIS is what I didn't want to bring up, glad you did.

I can't really put it in words, but...the looks on the faces of every freaking talking head, EVEN ON FOX NEWS, it....it was like...like another nine eleven...by the looks they had...

I used to occasionally watch those "2016 Election Night Meltdown" vids, ESPECIALLY, The Young Turds one, but now I don't because I don't think it's funny. It's actually disturbing that 99.99% of the talking heads had put their money on the same horse to win. Something's very wrong with that.

Very very wrong.

Thank you for your input.

He's a corportists in the sense that he attempted to control the corporate state all by himself, and run every arm of the economy like a corporation. Where do you think people got the idea he was a fascist in the making from?

The only problem is, almost all corporate entities operating within the US has infrastructure literally all over the world. The corporate state fought back hard because for every regulation he deregulated, he put up one of his own which was in itself detrimental to the neo-liberal agenda, which the already 'established' elite were operating on.

So you have some guy who generally deals with domestic real estate now getting involved not only in politics, but international economics. We can argue until the cows come home about his admins usefulness and effectiveness for boosting the American economy, or not, but he wasn't doing it 'their way'.
