The Lack of Respect for a U.S. President is Astounding

I'm not the brightest crayon in the knife drawer, but I am capable of picking up the intentional disrespect from all the familiar talking heads on my glowing screen for the last five years.

These overpaid fear mongers and lying con artists have never held back their utter disdain and hatred for President Donald Trump.

But...

For thirty years, before his announcement to run for president, every talking head and celebrity showed Trump respect.

In any interviews he did, he would always be asked if he'd ever consider running for President of the U.S., and he would usually say the same thing, "If I have to."

Here's an interesting article from NPR that shows how Trump was fairly consistent when talking about America's problems and if he'd ever run for president.

For the most part, Trump has always been Trump. He's always spoken his mind and is not afraid to give opinions.

And Trump has walked out of interviews decades before being Commander in Chief.

Good luck finding this on Gaggle, it's stuck on stupid and only has results for the Leslie Stahl interview.

The man doesn't take crap from anyone. I personally like that about anyone, but especially someone who's running for the highest office in the land.

For years, during interviews, Trump would point out what was wrong with America, whether it be policies affecting the working class or policies and agreements with other nations that did not benefit America in the long run.

And when Trump gave his assessments and criticisms it was not the end of the world. There were no tears, no screaming, no sad faces, no college brats walking around crying and holding each other, no college professors abandoning their curriculums to explain to the students why and how Trump was wrong as they colored in their coloring books.

Instead the world kept turning. Trump would occasionally do guest spots in TV shows and Follywood flicks, always playing himself....and for good reason, he has always been a brand name known in almost all households.

Ironically enough, Trump was on an episode of Suddenly Susan, in a scene with Kathy Griffen...just watch this ei ght second video clip.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the hate for President Trump. President.... Trump....

Those two words are why I am doing this thread. I noticed way back when once Trump was elected that he was commonly referred to as Mr. Trump. It still happens today, this morning actually on Morning Hoe, Mika was flying solo when I caught it.

And I noticed on YouTube a lot of vids from networks rarely stated President Trump in the titles, it would be Trump, Donald Trump, DJT, and Mr. Trump....vids from the last five years....

Yet the POTUS before Trump was and is still referred to as President and Ex President....

I've tried to be civil, haven't mentioned any names other than Trump and those three bitches.

My reason for this thread is this:

Have you ever noticed or do you recall a U.S. President ever being so disrespected as President Trump?

Keep in mind, Lefties, Trump did not take his gloves off until the taking heads and celebs took off theirs.

And I would like civil serious answers, be honest and be calm, just tell me if you've ever witnessed such hatred and disrespect for any President like Trump has received.

It's that simple. And i appreciate everyone's input no matter what your political preference may be.

sure other presidents were hated, but trump was in the mouth of every news outlet from the day he announced he was running every couple of minutes.

I remember a lot of Clinton hate in the 90's but I don't remember a huge disrespect for the position.
The bush years are a different story and it kept getting worse from there.

Trump attacked Obama's birth right citizenship. That's a pretty big one right there.

Well, Hollywood tends to be liberal. So there's that.

And Obama was hated by a lot of Hollywood.

That was definitely the time it started but it wasn't really a wide spread issue.
Everything snowballed from the mid 90s on.
The internet allowed people to share videos and memes that were pretty much impossible during bush Sr and before.

I’ve never really liked any US president but being conservative just stayed quiet and concentrate more on policy over persona.

Trump was the first President in my lifetime that dared to speak his mind, dared to challenge the media, big tech, big pharma. When you make those three entities your enemy then it’s inevitable the narrative will paint you as a devil. President Trump was taken down for having balls, a white man in a world brainwashed by pseudo socialists that think gender is something you decide based on feelings.
