Happy Birthing Person Day!

That's what we're celebrating this weekend. You aren't a mommy; you're just a birthing person, which seems to me to be a thinly disguised reference to being a breeder.

I find it offensive.

I am a mother, and this weekend is Mother's Day, not a day to celebrate breeders. A mother is more than just someone who gave birth after all. Plenty of people who gave birth never bothered to actually do the job of mothering their own children.

I would ask the ladies if they think taking on a slur is empowering, but we know the answer to that. Of course, in order to the make the whole thing complete, all gays would forever have to be banned from uttering the term breeder again.

Radicals that are afflicted with extreme mental illness is a really dangerous combination.
The infiltration of these people into our government could very well bring our country down.

I'm not...but this # is really starting to offend me. My mother was an amazing mother, my sister's an amazing mother and my wife is an amazing woman. As far as I'm concerned garbage like this undermines and demeans all the women in my life i love and care about all so some mentally ill people can feel good about themselves.

I swear this trend is just going down a check list of reasons to deny our humanity then acting on each point in turn.

My wife is much more liberal than I am... but all this intense stupidity is pushing her to the right.

I am to the point that the stupid doesnt surprise me anymore the left has shown time and time again that science only matters if they think it supports their thoughts.

I would literally vote for a fascist right now.

OK, that's a step too far. Disrespecting mothers like that is not going to go over well with anyone on any side of the political spectrum. These nuts live in a world of their own on the fringe.

We have psychological exams for military and police, why are we not testing candidates BEFORE they take office?

Maybe it's slowly conditioning us for a future where embryos are grown in vats.
No need for human involvement.
Selected "correct" types will be permitted to survive.

Community - based maternity care sounds to me like a way to sever the maternal bond and make the offspring property of the state and not a member of a family.

Someone wrote a book along similar lines. Very brave.
