It just kinda popped in my head since it seems now with the wokeness, if you transition biology, do you also transition your title of parental title?? Or perhaps you take both days??

If they are trying to get rid of "mothers" why did they call their bill Mommies Act? Doesn't add up.

Looks more like their clumsy wording has more to do with trying to avoid the word "women" in order to be sensitive to the trans movement.

Not all "birthing people" are mothers and not all mothers were "birthing people". As my husband, who was adopted, pointed out - what about my mom? What was she? Mom not appearing in this holiday because I was adopted?

In some circles I used to run in, calling a woman a "Breeder" was considered a compliment actually. At least the men thought it was. The women probably not so much.

Well I am a woman and a mother and no darn cancer democrat I mean cancel democrat will take that from me, darn it, I was born this way.

I agree; and it hurts their cause more than they fully understand.

There are two types of people in this world. A small group of people who live and breathe politics (conservative or liberal) and there is everyone else.

Because these politicians live in the political world at a time of extream polarization they have become completely out of touch with the much larger world. They think they are striking a blow against intolerance with their odd way of speaking because they get an applause from the tiny minority that hangs on every word they say. But I would argue they are creating more and more indifference to tolerance in the lager world because normally people just don't have the time nor energy to walk on the same egg shells as they do.

In a decade or two they will find that we have moved to a place of less tolerance out of apathy because of their actions.

Yeah, I saw this and I was angry about it. I thought about why and it occurred to me that it was stripping away part of me to use that language. I am a mother and a woman.

We're not supposed to misgender people, but this language intentionally misgenders by its nature whether someone wants to be or not.

I do not give this type of ideology any of my time, beside messing around with it or making fun, this usually is not the way the real world act at least in my southern state, we are either boys or girls in my neck of the wood.
