Did you see anything about suffocation in the autopsy?

Paid experts from lawyers? LOL....they are paid for their interpretation. This is why both sides usually have experts...

Cardiac arrest. He did not die from suffocation or a knee to the neck.

Dr. Tobin was not a paid witness.

Look up the amounts that he had in his body and compare to OD's.

It doesn't compare, it was on the low end for anesthesia.

Then add the rest. A large man who is used to a substance may be able to handle it but that does not make it right.

The rest were small amounts of meth and caffeine, which would counter since they are stimulants and thc metabolites.

What does right or wrong have to do with it?

For me, posters that go LOL is a bit of red card.

Particularly when the subject of this thread is such a serious matter.

Not according to the jury. Or anyone with an ounce of common sense.

Because asked four times for an example of a police officer rightfully found guilty of second-degree unintentional murder by your definition, you failed to supply one.

You are right they should not typically be found guilty of a second degree while on duty since they would need to be already committing a felony or doing a drive by shooting when they kill. If you are asking can a cop murder, sure they can. If you are asking can a cop commit a felony and then kill someone, once again sure why not, but on duty kind of reduces the likelihood they would be involved in w felony and then kill someone. Do you have any real world examples?

What was the harm? No bruises or any other damages such as reduction in O2. Used an official technic taught to all the cops, considered the lesser of restraints... The prosecution didn't prove harm...

Twelve jurors said they did. The lack of neck bruising is irrelevant. The prolonged strangulation was the 'assault and actual bodily harm'.

OK I know that point, I just don't agree with it... "prolonged strangulation" is speculation. So he was choking him and so he had a heart attack, but everything else had zero effect in it all.

That's what you tell yourself because you cannot accept the verdict.

Actually that is what I told you...lol

It is a serious matter. You just do not understand the ramifications yet.

Free speech became racism.
A botched arrest becomes murder.
Free thinking is absent.

Chauvin was convicted out of fear not facts. If you want to say in the line of duty he was negligent and gets Manslaughter and some time in prison ok. That is a grey area. However, he did not murder him and did not fit the charges he was given.

It is not about whether you think you are a lawyer or a doctor, because I know some who are that are dumb as fark. There are always those who always graduate last. However, it is not that hard to research anything if you are the least bit intelligent.

A verdict here means nothing. This is about trying to continue to keep the nation divided after 45 brought it together. A government cannot control a free thinking society and they know it.

unintentialnal 2nd degree murder while commiting a felony. This simply means his actions caused someone to die. This is not murder as you understand it because no one believes he wanted to kill him.

Next he got third-degree murder “by perpetrating an act eminently dangerous to others and evincing a depraved mind,” without regard for life and without intent to kill. This is where he continued to sit on his neck long after he stopped breathing. He showed a disregard for human life. This is often used against drunk drivers who kill someone.

Last we had 2nd degree manslaughter with culpable negligence is where a person creates an unreasonable risk and consciously takes the chance of causing death or great bodily harm to someone else.

Notice each of these apply to the situation yet you being an internet lawyer think you know the law better then the prosecutor and judge.

Like it or not he messed up and caused someone to die in his care. As a police officer once you start an arrest you are responsible for their care and well being.Even fellow officers said he went to far and had a disregard for george floyds safety. 11 police officers testified against him in trial that alone tells you he messed up as that never happens in a police officer trial its unheard of. And in case you were wondering these people volunteer to testify meaning they approached the prosecutor.

He was found guilty and the verdict does matter.

You are simply not understanding the charges.

According to the experts, it did. I'll believe them over you. And so did the jury. Every one of them.

Hypoxia was listed as the cause of death? You can also get hypoxic if your heart stops...

Dude, I cannot believe how emotionally invested you are in this argument. Imagine if you actually had something important and contributive to devote your obsessive nature to achieving. Find a positive cause to contribute your obvious talents to and when you're old, tired, and facing down that inevitable that we all have awaiting us, you'll feel a lot better about how you spent your time and intellectual energy.

Seriously. The lousy, self-serving people of this society don't deserve the aggressive levels of defense that you devote yourself to providing them. These people certainly wouldn't walk across the street to piss on you if you were on fire. There are good and caring people that deserve the belligerent support that you are capable of giving. I hate seeing such potential being wasted.

Look like Chauvin is in more trouble. You have to wonder how much of this stuff gets swept under the rug.

During a domestic dispute, between a mom and teen, he busted a 14 years old head open with his flashlight, and then did his thing(same as Floyd), for about 17 minutes, kid apparently couldn't breath, lost consciousness at one point. What a hero.

He is right where he belongs.
