China to Meet Biden Officials in Anchorage

This has been out there today. I heard something about it last night. I haven’t seen it posted here yet, but it is a disgrace. A way to rub it in to a state who’s resource uses where hindered on day one of Biden’s term.

“I will meet on March 18 with People’s Republic of China Director Yang Jiechi and State Councilor Wang Yi in Alaska to engage on a range of issues, including those where we have deep disagreements,” said Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Twitter. Joining Blinken in Alaska will be national security adviser Jake Sullivan. The meeting will take place on Thursday and Friday of next week. The Wall Street Journal says the Chinese have sought to restart a relationship with the U.S. in the post-Donald Trump era.

China has had a bit of a problem buying real estate in Alaska recently.

They couldn't buy oil fields or large tracts of land because of National Security issues.

I'm sure that Biden's team will fix that.

After all, in a global war scenario, Alaska would be a much better front staging area than anywhere else for China.

Read about Japan and what they were thinking about Alaska in WW2...

Is Biden going to give Alaska to the Chinese? Because at this point I wouldn't be surprised if he did.

China and America were having a trade war under a Trump administration which was costing China hundreds of Billions of USD.

China bought the Biden Presidency for roughly 3 Billion dollars.

China is going to win this.

Simply because they are smart shoppers.

The average American citizen?

Not so much....

They want to buy land in Alaska just like they bought huge tracts of land in Australia. We shouldn't sell any of it, but Biden will be happy if he doubles the original purchase price per acre. I imagine China gets its foothold in the US fairly soon, Blinken and Sullivan won't get snookered right?

I have a feeling, that China , is behind these "anonymous buyers" all over the West and Pacific Northwest and Texas who are buying up all these houses and real-estate for cash, sight unseen. Driving our Housing market into a bubble that will make 2008 look like a day at the park.

I also wouldnt be surprised with Bidens recent actions, that he doesnt cut a deal with China on Oil off the Alaskan Coast, they already own some of our old platforms off the East Coast.

Either way its going to be bad for America and you can bet were being sold out

They want to undue the executive order Trump did just before leaving office. Trump banned US citizens from investing in any chinese company that is part of the chinese military. He listed 31 companies that were the chinese military and they cant purchase or US citizes cant invest in them.


This will get quietly undone in the background. Because it would receive negative press if he just changed it.

Biden is pro environment and anti oil. He's even less likely to sell China land in alaska than Trump, and he does not want anybody drilling for oil there.

Biden supporters, of course.

One of the thing about Liberal voters is that they often support "The greater good" rather than what's good for them as individuals.

So they might support auto fuel efficiency laws and environmental protection laws even if it puts their cost of living up.

Or they might support government spending that would put their taxes up.

Build back better for a Liberal might mean more solar power even if it increases energy costs, or more immigration even if it means higher crime.

They think differently, so you can't apply your own thinking to them.
