Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't it always been the Republican view that businesses should have the final say in who they serve?

For example, that a beauty parlor should be able to refuse to provide certain feminine services to a transsexual. Or a business being able to refuse to write a pro gay wedding message on to a product.

This sounds like another version of the same thing.

I disagree with refusing somebody service for stupid reasons, but this does smell like people getting upset when a policy that they want to apply to others is applied to them.

The answer to this shouldn't be to force businesses to server people they don't want to serve, it should be to have a diverse range of businesses so that no matter who you are or what you do with your life, there is a business that suit your needs. That's the America way. You see a need, you serve that need. That's capitalism.

Ahem. Let me help you. This is a CT site. So. Some of the things here might not make sense to all. Some of us that don’t align down the political chasm see what is/has been occurring a loooong time coming.
