Me either as a matter of fact. I’d much rather they open the country up so folks can get back to work. I get it. I’m blessed right now. For the first time in my life I am fine. Bills are ahead and I have a cushion in the bank. But I have not forgotten what it feels like on the other side. People are hurting and our elected officials are playing games instead of working towards a solution.

Just an FYI, there is no later after this is passed. They aren't passing something giving taxpayers money unless they come back to the table with more pork. They would never pass a straight bill giving us money.

Lets do a little math.

If you give 600 to every man woman and child citizen in the U.S. that would be about 198 billion. Let's give that much more to small businesses for interest free loans. That leaves us with 500 billion. We can give every man woman and child another 1,200 on top of the 600 making it 1,800 each and we would still have 100 Billion to help homeless people and vets and whatever else.

Look at that, less than one page.

I don't entirely disagree with the veto. There is way too much in the bill that has nothing to do with covid relief. If I were eligible for the $600 and needed it, I would probably feel differently.
