I have yet to hear ANYONE in authority say that it has become more virulent.

I've merely pointed out that if it is more transmittable as is claimed then it is obvious that more people will die.

Transmission of a virus does not automatically correlate to more deaths. Transmission only pertains to infection rate, not death rate. I've got to say, there is some real bull# being pedalled by those who fear the virus, whilst at the same time ignoring (quite deliberately) the social consequences of the government response to the virus, which is far more damaging overall.

How about getting your head out of your ass and start being honest. I never took you to be disingenuous, but here you are being so.

Of course transmission only 'pertains to infection rate'.
But it is reasonable to expect deaths to increase pro-rata - if more people catch the virus then the number of deaths will increase at a similar rate.
Unless of course you can give any scientifically supported reason to suggest other?

Please show me where I have been anything other than being critical of this government truly awful approach to this pandemic and Boris Johnson's complete ineptitude and total failure to come up with any sort of coherent, joined up, consistent and proactive programme of how to deal with the outbreak and ALL of its effects on society and the economy?
