Kayne should go back to the Republican Party, maybe he can get a Black person or two to vote for Trump.

there are third party choices galore the problem is to many people fall for the "must vote against X" and ignore the chance they could give a thrid party by helping them achieve 5% of the national vote, thats all it takes and a third party gets funds from the fed you can use to chase state seats, and congressional seats for the next 4 years.

But all I EVER hear is but they cant win the white house, with out support in congress winning the white house is meaningless.

We had something similar here in the UK; The Common Sense Party.......but then strangely enough common sense prevailed and we realised that no-one really gives a # so we went to the pub.

Its going to take something like The Second Coming to break the two party system in the US.....and even then I suspect they'd spend that much time arguing over whether Jesus was really a Commie Bastard or a Nazi Scumbag that he too would think '# it'.....and join us in the pub.

Hmmm, The Peoples Party Platform. Now where have we heard of that before?

Read through their Platform and you will get the idea. It's the Socialist, extreme Left of the Democrats breaking away. Come election day they will all vote for the Left.

This is not an Independent Party being formed, it's a splinter from the Far Left. It's a power move by the Socialists to gain more power in their real host Party, the Democrats.

It is evidence the Left is splintering away from the moderate Democrats. The Socialist Party already exists and all I see here is an attempt to change the name, since the word Socialists is a toxic one in the US.

I dunno man.

The whole thing, after reading comments from certain "speakers", seems to reek much more like a Communist rebranding, with a dash of excused racism as a platform tool to boot.

Yes there has but no one knows about it because they cannot raise the funds to make themselves viable. Ususlly because of some crazy platforms. But more importanty name recognition isnt there. How many of you know who JO JORGENSEN (Libertarian) is or say HOWIE HAWKINS (green party).

My third party vote is reserved for the resurrection of the Know Nothings, only more inclusive of Religions so long as they are Americans...isolationist nationalism is still a pretty important platform for a Pro-American Political Party.

Your country needs our help? Fine, but we are coming in, stomping a mud hole and collecting a paycheck. Or we are stomping a mud hole again and won’t be back.

With all the billions that idiots and corporations are donating to DNC care of Antifa and BLM and all the billions or more that Trump had to (somehow) have to run, added by all the money that Big Pharma and MIC can buy, I don't see this getting very far, unfortunately, but I sure hope it does. As long as it's not just 'other' Democrats in a new mask. no pun intended

What happened to the Tea Party?

The Libertarians would have been one hundred thousand times better off running Vermin Supreme. Still would not have won, but his antics would have been enough to bring attention to their party. Paving the way for success in House and Senate races up until the 2024 race which is completely up for grabs right now. Eight years of Trump would favor the Democrats if and only if they put together a solid platform and candidate other than “not Trump” otherwise the GOP will sweep 2024.

Sounds like they’ll mostly attract folks who usually vote Democrat. I’m all for it!

What will they offer for a platform?

So far I like everything Trump is doing from cutting taxes to lowering tariffs to bring jobs back to this country. Having said that, I don't like any of the dems or repubs that have been running since 1988. I like Trump because he conforms to neither side. Are his policies what they would bring?

My only issue would be having to test the waters for 4 years with a PP president. Dems are desperate and I could easily see them pulling the wool over our eyes at an alarming level if it means regaining power.

I am VPOA but we had an issue and will not have a candidate this time, and I will vote for JO.

Plenty of groups dont have a crazy platform, but come voting day 95% of the people that claim to support third parties will still punch an R or D.

The brainwashing has gotten to good..

The Platform.

Yes, it is Democrats. It's the Bernie Sanders crowd. It's not new at all.

Figures... That's a no from me. I'm worried about what choice we'll have for replacing Trump in 2024.

I'm all for a new Independent Party, but for me to sign up, it would have to be attractive to moderate Democrats and Republicans. It's needed. I think just the idea of it scares the heck out of both parties, who are how holding their noses and pandering to the fringe for that extra 2% of votes. The fringe has way too much power.

President Trump is up to 30% approval in the black community. When he was elected it was only 9% approval.
