Just had my first "mask" confrontation!

I just got home from grocery shopping where I had my first ever mask confrontation!

I parked my truck and was getting out- nobody anywhere near me. I'm not wearing a mask these days unless a store requires one for entry so I keep one in my purse just in case but haven't needed it yet. All of a sudden I hear "Ma'am you need to have a mask on!" I turned around and there was a man about 10-12 feet away from me wearing a mask of course. Now mind you- it is NOT mandatory to wear a mask when out and about in my state. So I looked at him and said:

"I have a mask in my purse if I can't enter the store without one, but what I do or do not do is none of your (fill in the 2 blanks here) business and you can (fill in one more blank) right off!!!"

That dudes eyes got so big I thought they were going to pop out over his mask! Then he starts falling all over himself apologizing as I flip him the bird and head for the store entrance.

Gonna grab a drink and start putting away the groceries now, just had to tell somebody!

If there's one universal thing that people have always hated, it's a busybody that wants to get in your business. And on top of that, this dude is already wearing a mask? Yeah, f off is absolutely right.

the good thing about germany: we are pretty well organized and the majority of people stick to the measures - that's why we have the virus halfway under control. in contrast to america. there are reasons why america has the most cases and the most dead.
- the incompetent government
- the many ignorant people who do not show solidarity
- the health system

i don't like to wear the mask, but i do as soon as i enter a store. doesn't hurt, but it's a little annoying.

Somewhere near Pittsburgh, we had a guy not wearing a mask surrounded by about 6 people threatening him in a grocery store for not wearing a mask. He had a doctors excuse saying he couldn't wear one, but it didn't matter.

We worry about the police going rogue? Take a look at your fellow citizens!

Is it possible that you misunderstood his intent? Maybe what meant was "You'll need a mask to enter the store, better be sure you have one or they won't let you in."

Or was he behaving in a bossy, in-your-face kind of way?

Its annoying when random men tell people what to do with their bodies.

I will not kowtow to stores or people that demand masks. No one should.

It's time to take back our lives from government scare tactics and social ostracizing.
