Leftist Ideology 101 - "I'm for Biden, regardless."

There are several recent threads regarding the sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden; however, in reading an article on the topic which includes direct quotes from one of the people that Tara Reade told about the assault (her neighbor at the time Lynda LaCasse), there's a different concept to consider other than the assault itself. Based on what I read, I am astounded at the complete lack of personal integrity exhibited by this person, who I believe is a fairly accurate example of the "typical" leftist mind.

Here is the excerpt that irks me:

LaCasse told Business Insider: "I remember her saying, here was this person that she was working for and she idolized him. And he kind of put her up against a wall. And he put his hand up her skirt and he put his fingers inside her. She felt like she was assaulted, and she really didn't feel there was anything she could do."

LaCasse said Reade was "upset" when she told her about the allegation and "the more she talked about it, the more she started crying." She said she remembered urging Reade to file a police report but did not recall specific details from the alleged incident, such as the location or remarks Biden allegedly made to Reade.

"I don't remember all the details," LaCasse told Business Insider. "I remember the skirt. I remember the fingers. I remember she was devastated."

LaCasse, a retired staffer of San Luis Obispo General Hospital, said she lived in the same apartment complex as Reade in Morro Bay, Calif. She recalled how the two of them had talked about "violent stories" they've experienced, which was when Reade told her "about the senator that she had worked for and he put his hand up her skirt."

"I personally am a Democrat, a very strong Democrat," LaCasse said. "I'm for Biden, regardless. But still, I have to come out and say this."

This woman has direct and reliable knowledge that Joe Biden sexually assaulted Tara Reade, yet still says "I'm for Biden, regardless." It seems this is the presiding mentality of the left, "by any means necessary", with absolutely no regard for morality, integrity, or even general human decency. There is definitely something wrong with the wiring upstairs with this lady. The more alarming notion is that nearly all the "very strong Democrats" I have encountered exhibit the same soulless iniquity. I can't imagine what could fix this deranged thinking.

I hope Biden gets held accountable. He'll probably just shout "You're a dirty-rotten no-good dog-faced liar!" and feign consternation like he does every time someone calls out what a scoundrel he is.

As a precursor, can we not talk about Trump in any ensuing discussion? That's not the topic.

I recently read a post here by a member that flat-out stated that Reade "let him do it"... so it seems that consensual sex to the left for their leadership just means that the woman was too slow to fight the male off.

Which isn't really new to the Democratic party as far as their voters go... The Supreme Court found in Clinton vs Jones that the evidence of sexual assault by Clinton to Jones was so compelling and extraordinary that they allowed her civil suit to go forward on a sitting President.

And yet Clinton is still popular with the Democratic voters.

At the end of the day, if you vote Democrat you're quite fine with sexual assault and rape...

Just as long as a Democratic leader does it.

The crazy thing about engaging in conversation about a topic like this with a staunch Democrat is that most of them are entirely blind to their raging double-standards.

If you asked them if they are OK with sexual assault, they would emphatically say "No". Fast-forward 5 minutes and they're so focused on their agenda that they have not taken personal inventory of the moral absolute they have just advocated for. It's bizarre, almost like a disease that is not medically diagnosable.

I've met and conversed with so many "progressives" that are dead-set on denying any moral absolutes in their defiance of all preconceived notions of "good" or "right", while unconsciously and overtly professing their own moral absolutes that they have created while serving as their own god.

Anyhow, just my thoughts on how this derangement comes across.




ETA: If I recall, there's a term for it: cognitive dissonance. It appears to be inherent in leftist thinking, which is a partial explanation as to why they are always trying to solve their internal problems externally.

Who in their right mind would describe Joe Biden as "“a leader who is the personification of hope and courage, values, authenticity, and integrity"? He's clearly dirty to the core. It's obvious to the most casual observer.

I always wonder when I see things like this... how does Nancy Pelosi get elected time after time? It baffles me, someone so bereft of anything admirable achieving public office repeatedly.

I know your bored and I hope all your yard work is kept up with as I almost know it is. But to just blame one party of being one that endorses such a thing is far from the truth. And I know you know that.
So I say we do what is proper and let the justice system do their thing. If they fail which happens more often than not with politics. Then we can start to call the whole thing rigged.
If no hearing becomes of this then we will know for a fact it is rigged.

I'm loath to embrace confidence that any form of justice will be served in this matter, as we have seen so many precedents that induce nothing but outrage for lack of transparency in their finality.

Again, per the precursor in the OP, the topic is not Trump. Anyone can see that his statements caught on record about "grabbing them by the pu**y" were vile and offensive, and there is no viable defense of such statements.

The issue is a reliable and credible account that Joe Biden is a perpetrator of sexual assault, and that the "typical" Democrat mindset is to overlook this fact and back him nonetheless. Is this common? How many people will vote for him knowing he should have served time in jail for sexual assault? What is the pathology of their decision-making process?

History and current offices aside, do you want the next President of the United States to possess these characteristics? Or do you have ideals that expect something better?

No. These are characteristics that should make any person un-electable. Typically, they're the type of things that get average people thrown in jail for a long time, as well. Obviously those laws don't apply to wealthy politicians.

At this point it's a simple tit for tat battle. The Democrats have selected their guy and no matter how terrible and old and criminal he is, they will vote for him because he's not Trump.

I'll start with who gives a flying fudge what she says.

Followed by she is either a plant or she is saying she didn't believe her neighbor. How about them apples?

Therein lies the root of the discussion. It comes down to each individual. Would you vote for someone "no matter how terrible and old and criminal he is"? My personal choice is that I would not, based on a multitude of factors. In the OP, this woman's choice is that "I'm with Biden, regardless."

Would she change her mind if Joe Biden sexually assaulted her niece? Her daughter? Where is the line?

From an objective standpoint, it seems that the "leftist" mind has the inability to extrapolate to the potential of personalization, or the notion of "what if we all lived that way?" They'd vote for the devil as long as he didn't hunker down and personally stick his unwanted fingers up inside them. This example is evidence of that.

Same ideology that allows them to side with entities against the US if they can use it to hurt Trump. Like China and Iran for example. Anything they can use to further their ideology and crush the Right. That's their ideology. They don't care if this tactic hurts the country as a whole as long as it hurts conservatives. That's the reason they overlook sexual assault when it suits them. The left says Biden's sexual assault allegations shouldn't be addressed because Biden has great values. The definition of "values" by the left is defined by weather or not these values further thier agenda. Their ideology lines up with Biden's and he will help advance their leftist ideology. So they ignore these allegations even if it makes them look like hypocrites. Because it doesn't matter if they look like hypocrites now if it helps them in their larger goal for the future. They believe that even if the #metoo movement hurts a few prominent people on the left for a liitle bit. It was worth opening that Pandoras box because they believed at the time it was their only hope to stop Kavanaugh. And even if it dirties up more on the left than the right they will use it to deystroy any conservative who has a #metoo allegation against them. They support these things because they want to further their goal of the complete destruction of the Conservative movement in the US. They know that goal can't be accomplished without getting a little dirty too. The destruction of conservatives is more important to them than the prosperity of the nation.

It's sad really.

But it's obviously not just the 'leftist' mind. The right wing is guilty of playing that same game. To paint one side the bad guy, while the other is actively doing the same thing seems disingenuous.

Both sides of the isle completely suck. Both lie, cheat and accept bribes in the form of lobbyists. Both sides are guilty of perpetuating never ending wars for corporate profits with no end in sight. How many boats they need? How many jets? How many financed mistresses?
