Fauci is not fighting anything. Just lamenting over what could have been done.

Contrast with:
April 8, 2009 - 1st H1N1 virus death in America.
April 9, 2009 - Obama's Fauci promises a vaccine FAST.
October 2009 - CDC announces vaccine and begins distributing to all Americans.

Fauci insisted early on that CV was nothing to worry about.

Trump stopped inbound flights from China, et al, despite Fauci's belief that CV was nothing to worry about.

You cannot argue with facts.

Trump took it more seriously than Fauci in the the beginning.

If we had waited for Fauci to say flights should be suspended we'd be in a much worse position today.

Frankly I was a diehard Trump supporter but he has screwed up every aspect of this, so called Virus pandemic. I seriously doubt he can be so dumb. The simple fact that everyone has not seen one check from our government is beyond criminal.

They force people not to work, say they will have us a check in two weeks then intentionally let the IRS deal with it during tax season which they knew would take forever.

To top it off they stated small businesses could get up to a 10 thousand dollar grant in 3 days which also was another lie.

If your a sole proprietor business that is forced out of work you might see another 1000 when they get around to it, not anything near the 10 grand.

The only reason why Americans have not marched on DC to riot is everyone thinks they will catch a virus that is just like a darn cold.

The only people that have passed are ones who died of something else or had this flu on top of another bad health problem they already had or being to old to fight it.

We Americans need to stand up and call them on this BS right now, before they have most of you begging for food in lines circa 1970s Russia.

They will do it to get what they want and that's full control of all Americans, body and soul.

President Trump just laid out the actions he took and the dates he took those actions, in a way that even the lowest IQ media people can understand what happened, and when.

I could not believe how John Karl from ABC asked "why did you feel the need" or something to that affect right after the video, ignoring the contrast from daily fake news reports.
In my View, Trump had a good day for those watching. The video was an easy way to cut through the propaganda disseminated by the MSM, couple that with Fauci clarifying the hypothetical timeline of doing more mitigation and absurdity of shutting down the economy without any Wuhan Virus cases in the US.
Overall that was a great job of explaining something that has been muddied and obfuscated by the MSM and never trumpers.
This administration is doing a great job and today we saw why.

From the very beginning, Trump was in a "damned if I do, damned if I don't" position. Had he clamped everything down from the beginning, he would have been called a tyrant using an average to minor flu as an excuse to take away individual freedoms. If he didn't do anything, he would have been called uncaring and unresponsive to the needs of the citizens and basically a murderer.

That being said, when this whole thing fizzles out in a few weeks, that won't stop pretty much everyone from taking credit and claiming victory because of their heroic actions, even though that is complete hogwash. Remember the logical fallacy of post hoc ergo procter hoc. And no matter what, they trashed the world economy over a generally average flu. That causal relationship can actually be proven.

I think all the republicans need to open their eyes. They are being played like a puppet on strings. It's the same rethoric down here in Brazil . In our case, they want to fire the Health Ministry, because he is not a puppet on the hands of Bolsonaro. Also, he based himself in SCIENCE. Do you know what it is? If Fauci is based on SCIENCE and Trump is not, so it's not Fauci's fault. Not his problem if Trump is a ignorant that only listen himself. Seriously. You people are getting worse than brazilians who blindly follow Bolsonaro. Always finding an excuse to pat yourself and believing you are right.
