An Ode To Toilet Paper

I don't think I will ever see,
A paper lovely as TP.

Something that can seem so crass,
Used to wipe your very ass.

I'll miss it when it's goes away,
Paper towels are here to stay.

Don't shake my hand I mean to wipe,
My fingernails are getting ripe.

I don't think I'll ever see,
Charmin on sale at the A & P.

Check the RV sections of your favorite box store like Walmart. Sometime TP is stocked there.

When I get ripe and cannot wipe,
Or when I find myself a little sour,
I can always jump in the shower

Looks good on that fool for being stuck with 70,000 bottles of sanitizer.
People like that are the scum of the earth.
The very same type of people who Prey on the elderly.
If SHTF, I hope his house gets looted first.

LOL. If "that guy" could set up a table outside the Dollar Store here where I live, right next to Girl Scout Cookie Sales table, he'd make a killing!

Know why toilet paper is a commodity?

When one person sneezes 100 people crap their drawers.

Too soon?

That guy should get back in his truck and get around to all these places and start giving it to people who are in the most danger and that might just turn the train straight to hell and turn it just a degree or two.....maybe

I know, right?

"How much for a 2oz bottle?"
"$10."
"What? I can get one inside this dollar store for...a dollar!"
"No you can't, I bought them all out. $10."
"..."

If he wants to regain some of however much money get spent #ing other people, he might have to sell at cost, or slightly above.

My hometown Kroger's shelves are completely devoid of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, sanitizer, bleach, bleach wipes, most beans, rice, most pasta, water, most chips. Potatoes, ground beef, chicken, most pork.

My small local butcher shop has went through 4000 lbs of ground beef in the last 4 hrs, no chicken, no chops, no sausage, some pork steaks and a couple of roasts were all that was left.

We have 1 confirmed case thats in forced isolation in my county.

I live near fort knox so we have military choppers that practice at the airport near my house, but for some odd reason I saw one with what looked like a red cross on the side hovering in the middle of town which was odd, a long with a small jet circling town at a very slow pace yesterday, it seemed quite off.

The best conclusion I could come up with was we had 15 or so people returning to my state from a quarantine zone and possibly they decided to use a low traffic airport thats fairly centrally located, which would fit.

This hysteria is going to break a lot of people and make some, if we are lucky.

Well, I had at least a month's supply of bottled water and probably 3 month supply of TP before the frenzy started. Because I am unemployed I don't have to go out. And since I don't have to go out, I'm not going to until I'm down to eating stuff you're not supposed to eat.

I'm not afraid of being dead. I'm afraid of dying. Once yer dead, you won't care. But the process of dying could take a long time. And when you're really sick, two weeks can seem like forever. Ask me how I know.

I have no problems with people that prepare for any type of disaster.
I feel everyone should be encouraged to be preppers.I do have a problem
with people who buy out store shelves of products we all need then sell
them on Amazon or Craigslist for MAJOR bucks.

Someone on Craigslist was charging $2.00-$2.50 per roll of toilet paper.
Another was charging $20.00 for a 10oz size of 35 disinfecting wipes.The
same "seller" was also charging $40.00 for a 16.7oz size of 80 wipes.I had
read on Yahoo news that one man tried selling hand sanitizer on Amazon
and was shut down for it.Now,he is left with over 70,000 bottles of sanitizer.

I also have no problem with people who stock up products to sell, the price
gouging is too much.I don't have to worry, but I know that some people got
burned by these practices.I also know that it is human nature to be greedy
and selfish.
I just thought I would rant a bit and move along with the rest of my day.

"Some people" is the operative phrase.

People are buying out items to relist on amazon. They do this because if it doesn't sell you can usually return items and you don't lose money. If stores had suspended returns on those items they wouldn't be out of stock...its really that simple.
