Donald Trump 1:17:40 mark

'We're continuing to work on things that you will be hearing about in the near future. That even today sitting here today you wouldn't believe its possible that we've found the answers, you'll be hearing about it, we've found answers to things people said would not be possible, certainly not in such a short period of time.

I had to go back and rewind the tape to make sure I heard that correctly.. what an amazing thing to say.. what answers, what is he talking about? how soon?

This opening speech I thought was dragging on, but he took on Greta directly too. I understand she is speaking directly after Trump and is expected to attack him. He took her thunder like a ALPHA

Donald Trump

we are joining the 1 trillion trees initiative

Donald Trump

this isn't a time for pessimism, this is a time for optimism. Fear and doubt is not a good thought process, this is a time for tremendous hope and joy and optimism and action, but to embrace the possibilities of tomorrow we must reject the perennial prophets of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse.

absolutely NAILED IT!

A positive mindset goes a long way.

The leftists hate, doom and fear mongering isn't good for anyone. They won't learn that lesson though.

And why is a teenage climate cultist speaking at an economic forum?

Yes too much of a drama queen for me too, but she is 17 years old now, this forum might be a rude awakening for her.

No idea what is being talked about here. Other than a pep talk.

Context would help

he's just finished talking about the advances of science and society in the 20th century, naming penicillin and mass transport as examples - this was a follow up to his idea that optimism is key to advance peoples lives, health and futures.

rewind a minute - its a great pep talk

Context is for sissies.

But one thing I can add is it's "he's AN alpha."

Greta and her band of teenage know-it-alls have accused the Davos billionaires of wrecking the planet. I think the Davos elites might see this as a chance to prove they're human.
I hope they don't pull some phoney public relations crap like "Wow Greta, you're wise beyond your years. Thank you for coming here to educate us."

It's hilarious how Trump sees right through Greta's b.s.

I don't think Melania would allow him to get anywhere near anything like that.

She wouldn't move into the WH until it was spiritually cleansed of every occult idol, statue, symbol etc. & prayed over anointing with oil after whatever level of exorcism was deemed needed by the praying group.

Without context I’ll venture a guess .

A lot to talk about the environment at an economic summit .

Maybe he’s talking about being able to prove the Democrats true goal for the global warming doom scenario .

The elimination of fossil fuel’s which will completely change the global economy.

Then portrayed as the saviors of the world they’ll be in charge and have all the power they want .

At the risk of sounding like a socialist, one of the great downfalls of the 20th century is the loss of means of production for people. If you try to establish a company, its not about out competing the market anymore, as the giants in the market will leverage their wealth to crush you. COnsider someone with a great search engine concept....how far will it get with Google looming over them?

And along with this, the wealth gap that derives from it. I know the economy is doing better than it has in many years, but its really hard for most people in our country to really see the results of that. I am absolutely not in favor of minimum wage laws in general, and don't want to see minimum wage increased. But something needs to be done to address the dragons in our economy, sitting on their mountains of gold and jewels. I think amassing wealth should be a goal for anyone in a capitalist country. But it should scare the holy hell out of all of us that we don't throttle that a little to prevent individuals from being able to control their (or anyones) country. I know a couple of billionaires. Not personally (or, only somewhat personally). They are decent people for the most part, but think in ways that are very different. That kind of wealth makes someone accustomed to being able to use their wealth to do whatever they want. And while "whatever they want" tends to usually be promote their own business interests, someone like that who has more unusual viewpoints can tend to promote ideas that are wholly unhealthy for the nation at large.
