I disagree that anyone here is gloating.

What I do see is ludicrous and disrespectful attempts to minimize and excuse what the Presdient did.

I am very serious this time: it doesn’t bother you to see fellow Trump supporters trying to excuse this???

Your definition of the 'left' is very obscure. To the point you have become hysterical. Biden and Hillary (who was extremely Con BTW) doesn't represent the 'left' on planet earth. Nor does the majority of the US. Maybe if you had a electoral reform again you'd find out who America truly would vote in. FPP needs to go.

My definition of "left" is the current one used by people in America.

People who buy into the idealism of the Democratic Party and vote for them.

I'm pretty sure that hysterical doesn't mean what you think it means either.

As for who needs to go, that would be Progressives.

Who own the left and portions of the right in American politics.

You have no idea what you are actually talking about.

If “left” is equal to Democrats ... why not just say Democrats?

Left is this vague boundless group of phantom menaces ... Dems are people.

The Democrats have more skeletons in the closet than a crematorium .

Barr/Durham are getting ready to open the door .

If "right" is equal to Republicans... why not just say Republicans?

Because left and right is a shorter word to type then Democrats and Republicans?

We had this discussion once... my thread got closed and I think you had to take a mandatory "time off."

So I'll pass on a further discussion of it with you tonight.

Agreed.
So why do you figure regular folks keep playing sides, and voting then ?
Is it kinda like pro-wresting ? ( Or many pro-sports, for that matter ).

About half of voting age people dont vote.

Yeah: we the silent majority, whom decline to participate in the shenanigans.

Perhaps un-unite-able: as we all have different reasons for rejecting current paradigms, or for just not participating.

Nope.

Trump was vilified for 2 scoops and a number of contrived issues.

Then again, you're not a "deplorable-Nazi-Islamophobe-racist" so you probably don't get the heat.

Right to me reflects authoritarians not Republicans.

And I try to avoid using left and right these days, as it’s BS shorthand and meaningless in terms of real people.

I’m glad to drop it though as you seem to have been triggered by it; I was just curious.

Trump has been unjustly accused in the past so he gets a pass on this???

Okay. Question asked and answered. Thanks.

Who's getting a pass?

You expect a mea culpa from Trump voters sobbing and regret not voting for Hillary?

Whatever the reason, one way or another, the choice is made for the ones who stay silent.

You should at least analyze his tweet which is in article. That's what Justice is about. In a settlement you should at least be able to analyze both sides and decide for yourself I mean that's what the judge and jury does.

Also the other side is regulations or oversight of the charity would have been better because now all those charities lose out. Not to mention the article may not have mentioned Trump had to donate 2 million to new charities. I think the article said disburse 2 million.

Yeah: can understand that.
Don't we all have our little distractions ?

Or are we all just whistling through the graveyard ?

( You know: just trying to ignore that we're all getting screwed, because we're still not uncomfortable enough ? )

I have embraced crying mothers who have lost their children because our politicians put their personal agendas before the national good. I have no patience for injustice, no tolerance for government incompetence, no sympathy for leaders who fail their citizens.

Not one single person is going to not-support him based on this
