Sure, I get they burn more electricity, the energy not making light, is making heat though. Like I said, for me, I prefer the light from incandescent. I have scar tissue in both eyes due to cataract's that were removed.

LED lights do have two potential risks to their useage, one specifically for evening/nighttime use (having to do with the amount of 'blue' light they emit), and their capacity for flickering.

LEDs always flicker. Typically it matches the 60Hz signal from the rectified AC source.

It's imperceptible. However, if the LED is poorly soldered or the rectifier is crap or if there's a zener diode in there regulating voltage incorrectly you'll get that flicker.

Running something that dissipates more power than the lamp on the same circuit will also cause that. So it is diagnosable and fixable if you know what to do.

I’ve come to the conclusion the people that populate this site day in day out only care about politics and there side winning the debate. Logic and critical thinking have nothing to do with it anymore it’s about where you stand politically.

The thing is I get it, I understand the support for Trump especially considering how he is treated by the MSM and I’ve always sided with the underdog. The trouble is I think it’s all gone to far and I can’t help thinking that this new political divide has in fact been engineered by the power that be.

I have literally no idea whether the OP was satire or not.

I really hope it was, in which case it was pretty clever.

It is not satire.

Some of us like our soft white light bulbs, and are happy
to pay more for them. Not to mention that they last
longer than the other more expensive, cheaply made
