Starship Troopers! remember, the 97 movie where even KIDS join the military and go to insterstellar space? cuz virtually nobody realized it was satire of our military and space missions.

"Rockets are very unstable. that's why so many rockets just kind of go off in random directions sometimes and they tip over and go up in flames. We haven't had any progress since 1969. It was all a hoax from the beginning, but in the public's eye we haven't had any progress since 1969, so they just want the illusion of progress. Elon Musk is in with the government and they're like hey, we can help you, you can help us; let's do something that gives the illusion of progress. Space is. You try to get into space for too long you're going to end up making hoaxes."

That's why it's called "rocket science" and not everyone can do it. Reading things on Google doesn't make you smart enough to design one. They have these really neat things called "gyroscopes" now that can help control rockets.

So, who exactly do you think would be filming it? In 2000 the population of Boca Chica was 26. It's not exactly a booming town with thousands of people that are going to launch a test flight.
