Extraterrestrials Arrive On Earth - What Would They Think of SSA?

Hypothetically speaking, advanced sentient extraterrestrials arrive on Earth in 2027 AD. They have whizzed to Earth from many, many light years away.

They look upon Earth.

(2027 AD, Earth time) China's not doing so bad. Europe looks mostly great. The Americas aren't doing badly. Asia's not so bad.

They then look upon SSA (Africa) and what? What do they think of the people, the continent, the infrastructure etc?

Hypothetically speaking, if advanced sentient extraterrestrial life arrived on Earth in 2027 AD, what would they think of SSA (and its people)?


EDIT: SSA = Sub-Saharan Africa/Sub-Sahara African nations, which does include the nation of South Africa...

Why would the aliens view SSA any differently to any other place?

Why South Africa in particular? Why not the U.S? Why not England or Israel? How about Syria or Iraq? Maybe New Zealand?

I could give reasons any country on Earth and it's people are crappy and would be bad representative for mankind.

Why that particular region of the world and no other. Because I guess the point is to paint the place in a negative light?

World equality is a unrealistic fantasy by some earthly hippies..
I bet all other advance races lack perfect equality.
South Africa people are not the ones you wanna hang out with, they get as many kids they can 10-15 and hope it will be boys that can serve as workers, unprotected sex and religious extremist and voodoo magic.. gangs killing each other over gold, supposition, slaves.. lots of times those gangs are kids that´s just been abandon by there parents, rasiscm against white people.. tourist get kidnapped, pirates patrol the waters..

The people in south Africa pursue all the wrong ways.. instead of building a country and caring for the nature.

Doesn't change my questions like why that part of the World?
Just replace where I mention South Africa with the SSA.

But yeah the day someone on ATS actually responds to things I ask instead of cherry picking and avoiding them I'll be impressed. Would think any reasonable adult would be able to work out what I was actually saying.

If they're too hard to answer just say so and I'll happily move on.

Well, because, let's admit it - and let's not beat around the bush - SSA is much, much further behind than any other regions on the planet: the infrastructure, the development, the technology, skilled folks, higher education, technological development etc etc.

Hypothetically speaking, they wouldn't care about one region or another. They would look at this rock as a whole.

They wouldn't do the compare game and the main reason I believe they wouldn't is that their first impression of humans would not be good enough to warrant any more thought on their part.

They would be more concerned, hypothetically speaking, with that which covers roughly 70% of the planet: Water. And the life therein.

Have you every noticed in all the sci-fi tv shows and movies that when we get to an alien planet they seem to be a United planet?
One planetary rule.

Occasionally you'll get a story where two sides are fighting and we are stuck in the middle.

An alien would fly over us and think, "I'll come back when they get their # together"

That's exactly what I thought this was about! I thought the O.P. was gonna argue that aliens would find the Social Security Administration silly because it propped up the weak or something. You never know what you are gonna run into on this site.

SSA is made up of 46 states, South Sudan included (Sudan excluded).

No variables. SSA is 46 states.
