I was sitting here on the couch, just starting to feel the first few pangs of ATS withdrawal,...when I thought, "it's a beautiful, albeit hot, summer day, the sun will be going down soon, and here I am inside, doors closed and curtains drawn. I should get up and find something to do out in the yard."
And then I thought, "I know...I should make a thread about this."
So here I am. Oh, the irony.

Just listening to the rain, frogs, cicadas, and watching the birds and deer...

Then check back in on "the device."

Yeah, I hate being cooped up inside, so try to limit it unless it's winter.

Because it's a Friday night obviously. That means Battlebots in our house. Might as well surf the web between fights.

Yeah, Friday is nerd sports night in our house complete with chicken wings. Getting ready to watch Quantum take on Death Roll now. Some good fights tonight, but I think the main event will be weak: Tombstone v. Rotator. I just think Tombstone has too much for Rotator to handle.

Yeah...me too. At least we're not one of those people who don't even taste good enough for a mosquito to bite.

Tombstone is so 'yesterday'. Rotator could pull this off with one servo tied behind his back. I have actually never seen any type of Battlebots" competition so I hope my smack talk was adequate.

Smacktalk is fine except you put in the wrong names.

Tombstone is one of the greats for a reason -- his builder found a strong formula. It's very simple, but it works scary well. I've seen him lose, but it's not often. Rotator just isn't built for it in my opinion.
