Don't give me any grief.

The temp is supposed to climb up to 73F later this week.

May god have mercy on our souls.

*sob*

I was outside mowing the lawn earlier in this heat. I was going to eat supper but was full from all the bugs I swallowed and weak from all the blood I lost. So there's that.

You realize that you can be on the internet while outside right?

I pruned my trees, I set aside a place, I got me a fire pit, ready to sit outside with my telescope and view the darkness so bright...

and it's freezing cold, won't stop raining, cloudy as cotton and .. well, the universe has it in for me. AND the power went out last night, so before scented candles, I pondered the silence. Was rather upset when the power came back on.

PS:
this was in the New posts section, mefinx you just missed it?? Or.. someone clicked the buttons..

I really do not want to be outside swatting mosquitoes, deer flies, horse flies, sandflies, and pine beetles.

Congrats, you win the Summer Wisecracks contest!

I was being serious. We Southerners actually have a pretty good relationship with Old Scratch. He doesn't actually allow us in Hell any more, not because we're any better behaved, but because we stomp out the fires and install central air.

He doesn't mind coming over to my place because I don't preach to him, being a heathen and all.

People do use internet in parks, buses, the lake, ocean etc.

Wow...the get outside thing...half of the membership are...on...mobile internet etc.

You could get your smartphone, laptop, tablet....and take it and you to a park somewhere.

Days of home p.c. only are gone....

P.S. I'm cutting grass, have Bluetooth in...and am online too

Been outside doing yard work. Had to come in for some sparkling and refreshing ice tea. I'm allowed to do that.

Nice and relatively cool in Los Angeles area. Not like last year.

Although we definitely have raccoons around here, I rarely see them. Mostly just see the opossums and armadillos.

Going out of town tomorrow so working in a sweltering 72F today.

Weaker men have already been falling like flies.

It’s what separates the men from the boys.

Why Are You Inside On The Internet9?

I'm not.

I'm outside on the internet9.

Morning coffee on the porch, and evening cocktails on the porch.

Hi, rainy summer evening.

You speak my language bro. Everything the same, but sub the coffee for zipfizz in the morning. I’m begging for rain though — bring me a thunderstorm! Freaking 107 today...

Sounds like a good gig.

While we've had our share of rain, which has eased the drought, I wish it would chill so we can go rafting.

107 is brutal, so hopefully dry heat versus our muggy heat.

I hope you get the break in rain you seek. Rafting sounds nice. 🍻

Honestly, 107 this time of year ain’t bad. 3 years ago it averaged 112+ for months in a row. Don’t ask me to verify that, cuz it felt like 130 after that long. We are hoping for a monsoon summer. It hasn’t happened yet....
