I wonder, since Mitchell was the only outspoken one and he's gone they would be dependent on hearsay or the small amount of stuff that may be in a past interview. I doubt they would do a whole episode like that though some may pop up in the cover up episode.

If you haven't seen it this is pretty fun. Good part starts around 1:40.

Thanks. My take on the astronaut stories is at www.jamesoberg.com/ufo.html.

The Glenn TV episode is mocking the gullible UFO buffs, if you hadn't caught on. For laughs.

Interesting they spent a lot of this episode basically trying to de-bunk themselves. They were saying the same stuff I'm always saying that yes you can explain away some things but there is too much info out there to deny it all claiming highly trained people mistook a bird or balloon or it's our own tech. It would be crazy to take all the risks involved testing super secret aircraft on our own military. Literal risk to human life and then everyone who saw it talking about it after. If we had craft this advanced there is no need to test it on our own military, we would know it's the most advanced stuff anywhere and not risk exposing it unnecessarily.

I forget where (maybe on Joe Rogan) Cmd Fravor was saying that people saying the data recorders being taken off ships was BS. He was referring to the Nimitz incident specifically, but how would he even know if he's a pilot and not working the radar system? Unless he had several debriefs for days after where they went over the data so he knew for a fact it was still on the carrier.

I don't know enough about how all that works so maybe someone with military experience could attest to the plausibility that shortly after an event a top officer would be right there to collect all data. Is that even a thing? Wouldn't all that data be need to know confidential to begin with? I would think we'd be way more worried someone is going to leak actual usable military data (our locations, what we saw of other gov operations etc) than UFO stuff. You'd be collecting data drives after most missions.

Let me be clear:
There will be no human disclosure, that will only happen when the aliens want it or they crash across the freeway.

Yeah it's a lost cause to aim for. It will not happen. At least not in that way.

Think about it for a second. If all of this is true, the stories from credible people, what would it mean? It could very well mean that we are just living on someone elses backyard. Not just visited by benevolent beings some 100 years ahead of us that's here to say "Hello take us to your leader", but races that is thousands of years ahead of us, maybe more. And despite all our technology, our advanced weapons and big military budgets they can just walk in and there is nothing we can do about it. It raises a lot of concern for some people.

I didn't find a whole lot that stood out in this episode. It seemed to be more or less of a rehash with a few new add ins. The story of the helicopter that was doing some type of training mission in the southeast that had the 3 orbs encounter that shut down the helicopters power when they got close was semi interesting, as was the comment from the former CIA Engineer who said "ufo's came from Area 51."

I just got done watching episode 6. In it, they talked to some more people that put some questions out as to the origins of these craft. Some theories were discussed such as the Air Force possibly punking the Navy pilots into testing their own secret program. Then they discussed the possibility that the government was creating the whole UFO thing to mask secret programs. I found these theories preposterous. Good thing that Lou Elizondo and his group found them ridiculous too. These weren’t radar echos. These people knew what they saw with their own eyes. As far as the Air Force taking the hard drives, I have no idea what’s going on there. I truly believe the government has a lot more information that is classified and will remain so. The stuff they’re talking about on the series is a very small tip of a very large iceberg.

Yea, it was interesting they mainly focused on a de-bunking re-hash things. I'm sure they hear a lot of real time criticism and wanted to address some of it.

I felt like the engineer was just talking about being able to make fake radar blips and not actual UFOs but it was a little hard to figure out what he was getting at. The editing made it seem like he was saying actual UFOs lol.

Yeah, I agree with you. Those were about the only parts of the episode that kept me interested. I hope subsequent episodes are better than this.

I just found out the next episode (7) is called "Sightings surge, extraterrestrial encounters".
Sounds good.

They know the air fighters won't shoot at them while on training exercises.

Nice post Hollywood!
I would like to start a thread called “UFO Advanced Discussion”.
Basically “The aliens are here ~ so what are they doing?” thread.
None of this “are they here?” waste of time nonsense.

But I do not know if anyone besides you and I would show up to comment in it.

I'd also show up!

I stared this about the guy on Unidentified guarding the mysterious crate in the desert. Seemed like it would be a derailment ITT but maybe not.

This was a let down. They basically showed it's easy for reports to be something terrestrial. Just the drone demo shows people have obviously seen those tested somewhere recently and probably reported a UFO lol. And the initial phone footage was giant nothing burgers. The CO stuff looked like drones even in the photos, especially with the flashing "safety" lights like planes. The night vision pic looked like a regular military drone. They test military stuff over civilian areas all the time even with jets. They had a huge fleet of surveillance balloons fly over several midwest states recently. www.usatoday.com... They are testing how things actually work in real world.

Chris Mellon is starting to come across as a dis info agent. An ex military person trying to claim the military would let everyone know if they were testing something in CO. That's laughable. They didn't even admit area 51 existed for decades! They are not going to say "oh yea we were testing a new top secret spy drone, here are some pics and what it can do". Give me a break. Especially if it's surveillance, they need to fly it over populations to see if it works in the real world not just a test range. Mellon even says later in the episode past UFO reports were now known US tech (like flying wing style craft) "flying off the test range". He totally contradicted himself.

Just a bunch of eye witness reports with little to no evidence. And now abduction! The stories are fun but there are 100 of those shows and I'm not interested if that's where they are going with this series. I think they are out of breaking info and need to pay the bills lol.

Unidentified may have to become merely a reporter of recent UFO encounters. That’s all they have left. They’ve covered the issues in ufology, last night's show even went into some of the spooky stuff.
Zondo is on the anti-spooky ufo side but commented fairly that one shouldn’t put all events in the same category.
Unless there’s some fireworks disclosure coming from the government, I don't know they can cover to continue this show.

I still believe TTSA is a disinformation scheme.

So big Lou did not know that the Hawkeye crew saw the Tic Tac up close? He did not know the film bricks were taken off the two helicopters? Maybe he does not read ATS because I posted those details here a long time ago. Or maybe that part was filmed a long time ago.

The way he and Mellon just spun in circles this episode is probably the way it is in gov as they are ex-gov. Nobody knows what the phenomenon is and they just spin out of control theories trying to justify their positions. Kind of like how the whole gov runs all the time lol.

Finally got to see the shows. Now I thought the first show that dealt with the sightings only was the better of the two. But two incidents stood out to me. First was the orange orbs out over the ocean off N. Carolina. I have heard about these and seen these lights mentioned before. The second incident that stood out was the sightings over Malstrom AFB, which I think were newer than the ones seen in the 60's. The ones seen in the 60's were red lights. These were flat out triangles.

I thought the orbs were pretty well explained to be flares.
