I always find it funny when people say they're embarrassed of their country because of Trump. Meanwhile the man has far more international support than the last turd of a president we had.

That's as maybe but there are also an awful lot of people, the world over, not politicians mind, honest. Hard working people like you and I, who think he's an idiot and think it's hilarious that America has voted duck an over inflated ego into the White House.. He has very little respect amongst the people, outwith America.

Sure you hear the odd brit sound off that they wish we had someone like Trump in charge but most of us don't feel that way. Most of us are laughing. Trump has always represented what is wrong with this world (greed, corruption, elitism and fakery for starters), we've not had the wool pulled over our eyes (at lest in the same way or by the same type of person). I mean look at the mess of Brexit, Trumps presidency is almost comic relief from that particular train wreck...

The title is true. Trump is doing such a great job, he's gonna make the next TWO presidents look really good and all they will basically have to do is just show up and not change a thing...

The article is hilarious, whole thing is written like a piece of TDS Porn lol. Almost seems like a right winger made this to troll leftists to see if they would swallow something so rediculous. Right from paragraph #1 it's a bunch of weird fantasizing.

Your hatred of Trump is really starting to take over your thoughts and actions... I see DontTreadOnMe had to come by and wipe your butt for you because you couldn't even manage to make a proper ATS thread... I wonder what other brain functions will start to go as the darkness overtakes your soul, ability to follow directions is already slipping away as we see here... Maybe it will be motor skills next. Or memory, if that hasnt already been coopted into the Hatred seeping into every part of you.

If your mind is so feeble you couldnt think of any other nations, like both North and South Korea who have been having unprecedented meetings ever since Trump got personally involved, I'm afraid there's not enough help in the whole world to get you on the same page as those of us who've actually been paying attention.

I see the deep state stooges hate him. May, Merkel, Marconi, Trudeau... I dont think that surprises anybody. We look at that as a badge of pride.

He has done a good job. The way you describe it, it's like you think hes brought the country to ruins. If hes such a bad president why was he able to bring back the economy and jobs to a level Obama said was impossible unless you had "a magic wand"?

You Brits are just programmed to stick with the old status quo. "That guy talks and acts different than our politicians who emulate the royals with their fake airs, let's point and laugh!"

He achieved the impossible AND THEN SOME, according to Obama. Dont you think he at least deserves a pat on the back?

you are going to use the Korea's as an example of international support like its a win... Too funny and you accuse him of having a feeble mind.

people seem to think Trump is making a laughing stock of the US, especially in the eyes of the world. due to his Tweets and manor. and yes i have to admit that he IS indeed a jerk. yet on the other hand he is at least actually working for his country, trying to make it better and repair the damage done, especially the damage done by the last President. and that last President certainly shows that one's demeanor and speech are not even close to everything. the last President was indeed a smooth talker, just as pretty much every conman is a smooth talker. which is a big part of how they con everyone. yet for all of his charisma HE made the US a laughing stock around the world not because of what he tweeted or said. but because of his actions, and his working against the betterment of his country. in those way Trump and Obama are pretty much the exact opposite. smooth talking con artist working against his country. and rough speeched jerk actually working for the betterment of his country. personally i prefer the one who actually is working to better the country far over someone who sounds nice and good.

i must say that it is interesting that so many people who pick on Trump over making his country a mockery around the world. which is not actually true when there are in fact currant world leaders who actually ARE making a mockery of their countries. leaders like Trudeau and Duterte for example. Trudeau a smooth talking con man, just like Obama that is destroying his country. and then there is the rough speaking Duterte who is even worse that Trump in regards to speech and manors. but it is Trump people pick on. in some way it speaks volumes about our currant society that we seem to either elect smooth talking con men, or rough talking jerks to lead our countries. where in days past we had great orators like Churchill, Roosevelt and even ironically Hitler running countries. nothing like those who lead nations today. but regardless of how well a speaker someone is, even that shows us that the real test of a leader is not what they say, and how they say it. but their actual actions in their seats of power.

Sorry, but none of those you mentioned follow any real socialist doctrine or policy. Much like American politics they claim to be one thing but their actions are all completely the opposite. As far as trump.... nothing he’s done has been any real benefit to his people. There aren’t any more plentiful, available, good paying secure jobs. Wages haven’t gone up. I’m not safer than I was. Life isn’t better than it was. The only thing changed is massive wealthy companies got way richer. And the us is still on the path for eminent crash.

As for smooth talking vs rough talking:.... ok, let’s be clear here. It’s not that trump says rude things. It’s that he lacks the ability to reliably put legible, intelligible sentences together to clearly express thoughts or ideas. This is a simple basic task, much like tying shoes. Basic math. Walking and chewing gum. We have a president who hasn’t been able to master this basic skill of communication. And so when you say he has plans, I don’t think he does. A plan is when you have a goal, have outlined steps and organized ideas that you will implement to achieve that goal. I have never seen or heard anything resembling an organized outline from trump for any goal he wants to accomplish, and I seriously doubt any of his “plans” include anything more than telling his people again and again to get it done.

a reply to: mysterioustranger>>> Yeah, right. The MSM will have a love affair with the new POTUS and be his( or her ) biggest cheerleader and never cover anything negative about them, as with Obama. Anything dredged up against them will be passed off as partisan or fake alt news. The deep state and both parties will line up to work together ( against the rest of us) and we'll be told ad nauseum how now the government is back on track, the economy is suddenly strong again and all the problems Trump caused will force the citizens to never again look to political outsiders to solve the country's problems again. New booger men will be after us, the Russians, the Chinese, ISIS, anybody but the deep state. So we'll have to keep an eye on everybody and the government will watch us closely to protect us. Does that about sum it up? The trouble is, more and more people realize Trump is not the bad guy even if he is a jerk much of the time.

you say that all those do not follow "any real socialist doctrine or policy". and yet that is always the way it works out. just like when you look at it communism/socialism would be the perfect utopian society. yet the reality is that in the end it always turns into a tyranny. and it is true, that is not due to the idea and ideals being the problem. the problem is that it involves humans. just as democracy and capitalism should also be pretty much the perfect situations. yet again it is not the systems at fault, it is that humans are involved. just as that old wish of peace is a mere pipe dream, again because humans are involved. the thing is that humans are by their very nature competitive, greedy, biased and hateful. we are all driven to do better and to get ahead of everyone else. to become the top dogs as you will. and so yes there certainly are a lot of issues with America, just as with every country, under every form of government. all of which tend to say one thing than do the opposite. it's part of the human condition unfortunately. but on the other hand at least under Trump things haven't been going downhill near as fast as they were under Obama. it is rather like trying to stop a freight train with a pickup truck at this point. now if we could stop all of the opposition to everything Trump is trying to do, especially when it comes to the media slamming him and forming people's opinions at every turn. just perhaps things would have a chance at getting better. and Trump by all means is not perfect. but at least he is trying to fix things. which is definitely a lot more than can be said about Obama or any of the democrats that were opposing him such as Hillary or Bernie.

and like i said at least Trump is trying to get things done, and make things better. but the problem is every time he turns around he is being blocked and stopped. and i guess that is to be expected when he goes against things like globalization and socialism. those who want such things will stop at nothing to put their tyranny into place. for them the end justifies the means. nothing is to low for them to try in their obstruction as we have all seen since even before Trump was elected. and all the attempts to get anything on him to try to remove him from the position that the country wanted him in. so if you want to complain that nothing is getting better look no further than those who oppose him at every turn.

and Trump is most definitely not the smartest cookie in the pack, by any means. but just perhaps if instead of doing everything they can to oppose him, people actually tried to help him, we could make things better. and of course his management style seems to be "his “plans” include anything more than telling his people again and again to get it done." since that is the way a good leader and a good businessman operates. and this is exactly how every good CEO operates. they and the board of directors come up with a basic plan or idea. then have those under them do it. those people who are best placed to see how what is asked can be accomplished. much better than a micromanager who tells everyone exactly what to do, when and how to do it. even when they are not in a good position to do so. and yet that is exactly how many politicians operate, which is one reason why the country is in such poor shape.

All that is largely true. But it doesn’t make trump a good guy, or presidential material. He’s still an idiot, he’s just an idiot in a system that’s normally led by someone intelligent and malignant.

See, the problem is you’re wrong. It’s not about utopia and human nature. The problem is that the banking class and the populace have been at war for power for some time now, and the bankers won that war. So they would have you believe exactly the things you do. The free market originally meant free from taxes, interest, and exploitative gauging, like monopolies. The exact opposite of what you think the free market means now. And it was the basic tenet of socialism. So, because of human nature we must pay interest, pay tax on labor, and let someone else get the profit produced by our productivity? That’s just silly. It’s a system to allow the rich to get money while doing no work, and they have you believing that’s the only way it could be. And trump?? His policies support that system in every way. Deregulation? Facilitating the rich. Tax breaks on the wealthy? Etc etc.

And the reason trump can’t fix it is because he has no idea how an economy works. And nor do most economists. Which is why the standard of living goes down, the cycle of crashes continue, and we base everything off Wall Street which is only an indicator of businesses exploiting the economy, not the state of the economy itself.

*To all:

My thread has digressed into something I hadn't intended. It was not my intention. I just posted an article reflecting an observation shared by many Americans.

I do not hate anyone, wish every person well and good health, am not a liberal nor hold any political affiliation.

This thread is for discussion, not argument, or name calling that's totally un-necessary. That was not my intent whatsoever.

Going forward, I will follow any discussion, but will not respond further.

Thanks- Mysterioustranger

Your right on one thing, the Democrats could have a canditate spouting open borders, high gas taxes, money for illegal children over veterans.

And people will vote for that just because its not trump, not Republican.

It wont be until their lives are truly effected, that their pockets are truly empty will they see the error of their ways. And the majority still wont see it.

This new democratic party is extremely damfeorus to the average american citizen. And their Base is losing ground fast
