While the Mainstream Media continue to focus on damaging our President and our Country, President Trump continues to focus on enacting policies that benefit Americans, and America.

Today, President Trump fulfilled another promise, by creating "Opportunity Zones" which benefit needy Urban and Rural communities across America.

President Donald Trump has fulfilled another populist promise by creating new Opportunity Zones in urban and rural areas, where developers will receive tax cuts and incentives to build up some of our most run-down neighborhoods.

President Trump credited Senator Tim Scott for his cooperation in Congress, and BET head Bob Johnson also spoke at the White House event with Dr. Ben Carson and pastor Darrell Scott where the president announced the executive order. There are now 9,000 neighborhoods designated as Opportunity Zones.

NBC News — apparently mad that Trump is helping poor people — ran a hit piece saying the Trump Organization might enjoy some of the tax breaks. Populist Republican Jack Kemp, deceased, wanted to create so-called “economic freedom zones” for many years, and Rand Paul has also pushed the idea.

Trump railed against “geographic disparity” in our country’s economic opportunities in his signing ceremony at the White House.

“With opportunity zones, we are drawing investment into neglected and under-served communities in America,” President Trump said, announcing that this program will lead to $100 billion in new investments in the zones.

In time, the vast majority of Americans will come to appreciate how blessed we are to have elected such a talented and caring President. Very few U.S. Presidents have worked as hard as Donald Trump, to fulfill the promises he's made to all U.S. citizens of this great nation.

I saw his speech on youtube about the E.O. If I remember correctly Ben Carson will be heading up the program. Trump really has tried to keep his campaign promises from what I have seen

You have to wonder (or at least I do) what is going to happen when the [SNIPPED] cartel goes after Trump and they go for the impeachment of a sitting president ? Will America sleep through the ordeal or will there be a yellow jacket (without the jackets) uprising start in the states ?

Sounds like a slick time to be having a land value property buyup scheme going in a ghetto place.

aka gentrification.

if trump wanted to rebuild communities, hed involve communities, not big Corp who bid the highest to rebuild as they see fit.
can't legally evict them, make it legal to evict them...

Kushner's family already owned real estate on the Jersey Shore, but spent an extra $13.15 million in Long Branch after the area was deemed an opportunity zone by the Treasury Department in April according to Bloomberg News. The Trump Organization was already planning a hotel redevelopment in Greenville, Mississippi, with a partner, but that project is in an area that was declared an opportunity zone in April and could now be eligible for the tax break.....

...Kushner also has existing properties in two Maryland opportunity zones, while the Trump Organization owns a New Jersey golf course inside another. Kushner's family company and the Trump Organization did not respond to requests for comment

Well I was more picturing like in Police Academy I think did it, definitely The Shield, where they move police resources from certain areas and let the 'proper' criminals run the property value into the ground, then a 'savy' investor snatches up these entire blocks and then slaps huge developments across the multi-parcels involved.

But I guess slowly but surely (gentrification) works too. Argh.

That was my first thought too but this does not have to be a bad thing. If contractors are required to use local Labour then it could pull a lot of people out of the ghetto.

I started to do a thread but would have placed this in what forum ? Many knew if the the dems got back into power in the House of Reps the next two years would be hell for Trump and anything to do with make America Great Again..
Title: Pelosi’s Team Under Rising Pressure to Pursue Trump Impeachment

“It’s really hard for Democratic leaders to say that Donald Trump will likely have to do jail time or that he’s running a criminal conspiracy on one hand and then not talk about impeachment on the other,” said Kevin Mack, the group’s chief strategist.

Mack said several Democrats have “created a problem for themselves” by “hiding behind the Mueller report” and waiting for a final document to be released.

Raskin disagreed, saying that priorities like addressing climate change, gun violence and infrastructure should be at the top of the Democratic agenda.

www.bloombergquint.com...

Citing what they said was a rushed Republican effort to impeach President Bill Clinton, lawmakers aligned with Pelosi’s team argue that Democrat-led committees should first initiate investigations of Trump and the White House, over questions including whether Russians used laundered money for transactions with the Trump Organization. As those inquiries unfold, the Democrats can focus on policy goals like improving infrastructure and lowering health care costs.

“We are definitely not going to use the laxened political standards Republicans used to impeach Bill Clinton,” said Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland, a Judiciary Committee Democrat. “We’ll see what happens. The dynamics of events are placing very heavy pressure on the Republican Party. Do they really want to be left holding the bag when the entirety of Trump’s wrongdoing is fully exposed?”

So let the political games begin as soon as January or by the latest come March.. Seems like one other person (Ceasar) had some political problems long long ago come March.

Just imagine how much good he COULD have done, if the traitorous backstabbing leftists and establishment deep state republicans hadn't been fighting him tooth and nail EVERY step of the way...

So opportunities should not be available to them? They should stay in their run down ghetto? The goal should be they move up in the world, right?

I knew it had to be a scheme somehow. After all, Trump did it, people are gonna profit, profits are evil, therefore Trump is evil.

He shouldve just signed an executive order to give that land to the poor for free. Bastard has no idea how real economics work. Stimulating growth is no way to manage an economy! Why let the rich developers turn these areas into bloominv prosperous communities, just becuase they have all the tractors? Just give the land to some poor kid with a shovel, they can do just as good of a job! Or just take away that rich mans tractors and give them to the poor kid! Why cant Trump just...DO THAT?

Why cant he just do ANYTHING ELSE besides what he did? Because no matter what he does it wont be good enough so he should just sit there and do nothing. Let those communities continue to rot. How dare he actually "do something"? Something means profits. Profits bad!!

The question will be does it benefit housing gentrifiers, or does it focus on actual workplaces that bring jobs in and help people fix up their own communities. I havent read it, maybe someone will and post, but in the meantime I'll fantacize about protection rackets ran by kung fu gangs !

We all live in the same world, they can choose to live however they want in it, with the goal being more economic freedom to do so. If the people are happy with how things are then they would not be complaining, they clearly want change.

Well if the communities happen to be predominately black they would be fearful of working with him anyway, nobody wants to transform into a coon or uncle Tom overnight like Mr. Harvey.

We absolutely do not live in the same world, we live on the same planet, but our world differs vastly relative to location and lifestyle, lifestyle being the important variant.

well let's call it coincidence that the opportunity zones are coincidentally in and around where trump and his cronies have had projects planned....

cant make this snip up...

swallow it if you want... swallow it you will
