Obama said in 2008 "Both parties have monkeyed around." Guess he must be a racist.

Back in September 2008 Obama said this about both parties.

Starting at around 40 seconds is when Obama starts talking, and at around 50 seconds is when he used the expression "monkeyed around."

But because he used the expression "monkeyed around" and because he is black he must not be a racist, but DeSantis is racist for using the same expression?...

But, Obama didn't suggest that electing a man, who happens to be black, would "monkey it up".

I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to throw a flag on this post.

Obama is not President. Obama did not make the comment. Obama not the issue.

If you want to discuss DeSantis' context of the words he used fine. But don't drag Obama into something he wasn't a part of.

No, but as with all leftist, you're trying to conflate the two and create a connection.

I don't get why you care... How long did it take you to find that? Or were you given that by the Trump administration?

I am joking, some people care to much.

Nope.

Monkey and politics. If we can cite a similar, then we should.

Sorry, but just because you worshipped and idolized the fool, doesn't mean you can disregard previous politics utilizing the same language.

We do it all the time, cite previous examples.

DeSantis didn't say that either... DeSantis said: "The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases, and bankrupting the state..."

At around 36 seconds in the following video is what DeSantis actually said, and not the claim made by the left, who once again want to try to use the "racist card" to get a socialist elected...

Conflating any words about apes / monkeys, with African's as being the likes of them, at every possible opportunity, that's racism. Its quite revealing about the people whom get into that. Its when the smoke in front of the mirror dissipates, and the finger pointing is pointing right at the person pointing it.

The best part with all this stuff is its the sort we have amok now that grand stand "against" such thinking as much as any group has ever grandstanded about anything, the ones that keep making plain to see they're as bad about what their grandstanding against as much as anybody ever was.

Oh, and the part we're all the same species whom all devolved from apes, is the dead ringer of how absurd all this noise truly is.

S+F, anyone taking this out of context must have a "dash" of "racism", because they immediately focus on that aspect.

Its like the whole, "What do you mean YOU PEOPLE?" type deal, its literally BS and straight up an emotional response without any merit to critically think about the overall situation.

Monkeys mess things up, for all their intelligence, they always fall short, just by a bit, hence, don't monkey this up, stop monkeying around, all verbage relating to, stop acting up and get focus.

Smdh.

Because the left keeps using lies to try to get far left-wingers who want socialism elected. Because i was born and raised in a country, Cuba, which to this day has a socialist economy and a communist government. Because there are millions of Americans and legal residents like myself who don't want to see the U.S. turned into yet another socialist, or even communist nightmare... That's why I care...

You notice that too? Its like that one person who has a dirty mind and always finds something sexual about anything.

The same can be said about individuals with already preconcieved notions on their views of Racism. However, where is said persons mind at when said Monkey in relation to an opposing black cadidant?

How does finding it even where it doesnt exist, and demagoguing your out group opposition with it in pursuits of inter-group supremacy, not 'racism'??

What if that’s not what it is though?

I’m white, I’m from the south and I grew up around racism, in a town that had burning crosses, KKK rallies, all that. I’ve heard it all throughout the years. Every slur, every dog whistle, everything. Heck, my cousin met her husband at a KKK rally. I can recognize that crap a mile away.

But somehow it makes me racist when I notice that same BS trying to be pushed somewhere else?

BTW, is Dianne Feinstein also a racist for having said: "No one has ever been allowed to monkey around with our electoral system."
www.politico.com...

Or what about Schumer?...

"Donald Trump threw a monkey wrench with the wall."

www.nytimes.com...

I guess POTUS Trump shouldn't feel offended by Schumer using the "monkey" phrase while referring to Trump in specific?...

Because it is not racist to use a phrase that even DEMOCRATS use...
