The best defense you can come up with is essentially "John McCain did it too"? That stuff usually belongs in the playground and in that line of thinking it quickly becomes a race to the bottom. And at the end of the day, the american people keep voting people from one extreme to another into power, inclusive of George Bush, Obama, Trump, and yes McCain. Rather than accept some form of culpability for voting these guys into power or an acceptance that yes, McCain did reach his position because he was voted in, we instead get:

Does this person actually understand what the Nazi's did? Have they ever actually visited a concentration camp? Do they know how Germany has changed since its experience of WW2 and the Cold War? Because at least Germany changed from it (assuming that McCain was as bad as Hitler, which he was not).

Yes, I would love a list of all the crooked stuff that McCain apparently did. I just hope it will be more truthful than for example, Pizzagate. The claims about McCain and the USS Forrestal disaster are about as credible as Pizzagate. I'm also not sure how appropriate it is to post it in this thread.

I already posted an article dated 2014 about McCain being censored by the Arizona GOP because of his "disastrous record" of voting. How he ever got voted back into office was beyond many of us. This started before Trump came along. He turned out to be a liar and backstabber to the constituents who voted him into office. As you've seen, there are many reasons people on this thread might think he deserves to burn in hell, some may be more accurate than others.

I know right! He was the GOP conservative darling all the way up until he refused to allow Trump to destroy health care for millions of Americans. Before that he was GOLDEN!
