What i am asserting and is backed up by the modern scientific community is that the thought that like cures like indeed does work for prevention.

It does this by triggering an immune response in a healthy patient.

Now it is a different story and case when dealing with an actively sick person.

Can you provide an example of likes cures actually curing anything as homeopathy claims?

You have successfully demonstrated that you don't now what homeopathy is.

Yet i have asked several times in the thread for anyone to give the definition of what it is in lieu of one liners claiming i am wrong.

ho·me·op·a·thy
ˌhōmēˈäpəTHē/Submit
noun
the treatment of disease by minute doses of natural substances that in a healthy person would produce symptoms of disease.

I think on some level you all get off on this

Multiple links have been given. You have chosen yo ignore them.

You can not do it cause you are full of it.

I am the one who has been providing links on the subject.

All it takes is one logical definition to prove your point but such does not exist cause the only point you have been making is just personal attacks against myself and nothing that supports anything else.

Are you pretending to be stupid here??????????

VACCINES

If you give a person small doses of a virus then it produces an immune response in a person.

like curing like and irrefutable proof that vaccines are by definition a form of homeopathy.

www.merriam-webster.com...

You don't prove something by giving a definition.

There is no evidence homeopathy works for the simple reason it can't work.

Another fine example would be snake handlers that have built up immune responses to venom and allowing them to be bitten without harm.

Another form of homeopathy would be injecting scorpion poison into a cancerous body to kill the cancer.

Vaccines don't cure, try giving someone a measles vaccine after they gave caught measles and see if it works.

Give me an example of a cure please as homeopathy claims.

I don't need to prove you wrong.

You are the one making the claim and have failed to offer any evidence or even demonstrate you understand the basics of what you are talking about.

By whose definition?

I gave you the founding definition by the original doctor of homeopathy.

the basis for his beliefs was like cures like

That is homeopathy and the examples i give are very much homeopathy.

Immune response is our best defense against what ails us.

What lunatic tries to intentionally give their child rabies? I'm not a big proponent of people having their children taken from them but this guy is mental.

It is true that rabies cures behavior problems in people about 100% of the time. It is also about 100% fatal too.

I actually gave you a link to an explanation of homeopathy since you clearly don't understand it and why it not only doesn't, but can't work.

You ignored it and have now resorted to childish insults because you have no argument.

long walk cliff...

vac·cine
vakˈsēn/Submit
nounMEDICINE
a substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease

that is prevention in the case of the flu

it is all dependent on building up an immune response

again in the case of the flu vaccine it does not work with mutated virus

you are trying to equate two different forms of treatment here

one being triggering an immune response and building up a tolerance and the other being to poisen the system with a different type of poison

best example being if you stub your toe and go to a doctor and he chops off your other toe. problem solved

those are two different types of like curing like

Here you go: what is homeopathy

The technique for making a homeopathic medicine involves repeated dilution of a specific substance until little of the original substance remains.
