This guy running for sheriff is willing to kill his own citizenry if he had gotten orders to force people to take their firearms.

He may want to rethink that. There is an awful lot of well trained ex-military that remember the Military Oath

Clearly my point soared 5 feet over your head as I wasn't calling into question Infowars' credibility. I was calling Infowars a liar based on their reporting and text used in the article in the OP.

Though since you brought it up, I 100% trust all of those news sources (even Fox News) more than Infowars.

My POINT, which you clearly still haven't gotten was that Infowars took this man's words out of context and are reporting like he actually said he wants to kill gun owners when even Infowars can only say he implied it. The WHOLE article is a lie, as I pointed out.

There is always a chain of command, once you hit the top level you need 3 agencies to oversee all departments.

Checks and balances, yes, the sheriff should be PROMOTED to his/her position. Not elected.
