For those that are saying this is about race, if the manager (yes he's a douche) was so clearly being racist, why wouldn't all the people of color jump in and help a helpless lady?

Did you hear the guy on camera say "oh I just wanted pizza".
What about the other black ladies, are they incapable of helping either?

The shop manager was wayyy wrong. He should have notified police if it was so bad of her to use the restroom. His temperament is aweful.

But it's a predominantly African-American neighborhood. Shouldn't be beating up his clients. Yes the shop is next to PPG Arena and Duquesne university. But that's not the hub of pizza eaters.

I was pointing out the mindset of a Mayor up for re-election. Granted this has turned into a racial situation, and he had to say something to calm the masses. But does he have information from the police saying that the shop manager made racially disgusting remarks?

Umm, obviously because he wasn't beater her.."before".. there was nothing to film/document.
Pretty lame of them to watch it happen, if any of my circle of friends were there that guy would of been shut down quick via two lefts and a right.

So a disruptive customer enters a pizza establishment and is asked to leave by the manager. The customer remains loud and belligerent thinking she has a right to be on the premises, even after she has been asked to leave. It quickly escalates and turns into a physical and violent confrontation in which the customers comes off worse.

First and foremost, if the owner or the manager of a store or eatery has determined that you should leave for whatever reason and has asked you to leave...you damn well leave! Nor matter how you feel about being ejected, nor matter how much you feel your rights are being trampled (which they are not), you don't debate, you don't argue...you leave. Once you have been asked to leave, and yet remain, you are trespassing.

For the owner or manager, the correct action is to call the police and have the customer removed. No owner, no manager, nor any other member of staff should engage the customer physically except in self defence or to protect the property from damage.

It is right that both the customer and the manager are charged and prosecuted to the extent of each of their actions.

Too many customers think they are in the right to be served regardless of their behaviour. Wrong.
