Where did you get that stat?

You do understand that the government is the highest insurer to deny claims, right?

It pops up in various places.

Does a person once signed up get to go down to whatever facilities they figure out and get all kinds of checkups and whatever as they see fit, OR if they have 'something is wrong' they know they will get in there just fine?

They way it works for me is like this.
I go to my state health insurance listings and chose a plan that I can afford.
The reason that I can afford any plan at all let alone choose the right one for me is because the aca is paying part of each plan.
Currently the aca is paying 300$ of my plan. I pay 160$. That's every month. For me this is the cheapest plan I can afford. If the aca was not paying that 300$ I would not have health insurance at all. And I need it, I ether have bad ulcers or stomach cancer and I need these tests done to find out. Pain in my stomach for 5 years now! I only work part time because my mother has dwarfism and I need to be at home to help her on a daily bases. I can't afford 400$ a month for health insurance while taking care of my mother. I can't even afford 200$. This 160$ that I pay is right at my limit. It only gives me basic care. No dental or eye care or anything like that so no I can't just go get any random test that I want. In fact I don't think anyone can do that on any type of health insurance. I need a referral from my doctor to go to the gastrologist for the test i need. If i didn't have that referral they would not see me. That is how it works with all those kinds of tests I assume. So if your doctor doesn't think you need it you can't get it.

This is the real answer.
Notice how trump (nor any other president) is talking about this even though it is obvious to us all.

Why isn't trump talking about this?

A very large number of Obama care recipients live in trump states. Minnesota, Wisconsin. And in Pennsylvania. They're the ones who voted for him and he's screwing them. Nice huh? Funny how popular Obama care got when people thought they were going to loose it.

We paid for it because we were forced to by law, but couldn't afford to use it due to the deductibles. You don't understand the problem behind that?

I had an association plan from out of state about 10-12 years ago. It was so terrible with what they would cover that we had to cancel after 3 months. It was cheaper but didn't actually give us much in the way of health insurance. These plans may be fine for those who don't ever get sick, but if you do get sick they are junk.

For those who make less than 200% of poverty level income, Obamacare plans will continue to be cheaper and much better, then any association plan that comes out. I bet 90% of those against Obamacare never even looked up how much health insurance would actually cost them under Obamacare. This year especially, the low deductible plans are not much more expensive than high deductible plans.

This is what happens when Medicine has become a cartel.
They license hospitals, doctors and outlaw natural remedies in preference to manufactured pharmaceuticals.
You get sick or injured there is no alternative unless you can leave the country.
They can charge what they want because there is no competition.
They just put the taxpayer on the hook for treatment of everyone who can't afford the jacked up prices colluded between the hospitals and insurance companies; which adds another layer of cost unnecessarily.

I have a Canadian friend who was treated in the US for lymphoma because he couldn't wait a year to see a specialist in Canada. This is what happens in socialized medicine.

You can self treat the ulcers.

Zantac + Prilosec + Bismuth + TWO antibiotics.

You can get those OTC, but have to go to "Feed Store" for the antibiotics.

I need to myself. But I need an additional antibiotic. Its best not to ever eat them if you can help ti it kills your good basteria too so you want to read real good to do it just long enough but not too long.

Read about it dont even listen to me I havent sat down to do it yet but zantac or tagamet + bismuth only relieves so far. Cant afford prilosec or tetracycline yet although if I get some prilosec I might just single shot at it with this amoxicillin.

Yeah see, the part so many seem to overlook is the predatory insurance system is part of the problem that at least warrants the discussion the socialists are insisting on. The crazy part of course is those insurance companies wrote the ACA.

The rub is that nothing can really be done that will make any difference without congress acting. Same as the Jeff Sessions pot thing...if Congress would do something other than give pressers about how much they hate each other (and Trump), or trying to sell us Shiz on a Stick legislation, then not only would the MJ question be at least debated legally (and possibly align executive action with law, which is a really nice goal to have)...but the insurance issue would be handled as well.

Its an industry that if we are going to tolerate it, needs to be regulated. Regulating industry is a job of government. Regulating people isn't. They have their priorities all screwed up, and prefer sharing gossip about a president they don't like (probably because that's what their base really wants, and they are trying to be populist prior to mid terms).

As a nation, We The People need to demand Congress to provide the check its intended to, and to remove the need for EO's to fix broken government action.

That's how they + MSM protect The Agenda™.

And its almost all the little people want to do is help them do it. Just keep focusing on how we're different, how the other teams dude annoys us, etc, yeah harp abut the latest scandal BUT skip past the Corruption stories, and we're all perfect little minions.

Zantac + Prilosec + Bismuth + TWO antibiotics.

I have tried this twice now and it didn't work. that's why i am having an endoscopy done to see what is really going on in my stomach. Even with the aca I have to pay 260$ for the endoscopy. If it turns out to be a tumor or something who knows what I will have to pay out of pocket. My hope is that I just have chronic ulcers or something else that can easily be healed even if it's with a light surgery.
I should have the endoscopy done this month or early next month.

Zantac and prilosec don't work on my acid but the prescription stuff called omeprazole does as long as i never skip a day of taking it.
Like i said i tried acid reducers plus different kinds of antibiotics all at the same time, but it never changed the way my stomach feels. I never tried mixing bismuth in with it all though. But if prescription antibiotics and prescription acid blockers didn't work I doubt the OTC stuff will.

So just go wide open then?

I once had a firefighter paramedic roomate. Every week it seemed he'd come home from a 24 hour shift, and complain about not getting any sleep because another "ender" (bums) had called in a heart attack or whatever. It was this constant pattern where the 'patient' was fine they just wanted attention. This stuff goes on, lonely people, whatever, need a hug and a massage etc cant get that but I can get some medical personal making me feel all cared for.

That is easy to fix. Do what the UK does, fine the # out of time wasters.

Call in a 999 (911 for you yanks) and your a time waster , you can expect a nasty fine and possible criminal record.

He already has, on numerous occasions before becoming President. As a global traveler, he's seen many health system models. IF ObamaCare repeal-replace talks come up again, the Medicare-For-All option will be placed on the table for consideration. All it needs to be is an "option", for those who want it.

yes..for over two months and all it did was make my stomach hurt more.
in fact i tried a bunch of "cures" for ulcers that i found online and NONE of them cured it. I promise you anything you think of I tried and gave it a few months to work before giving it up. I even tried drinking a cup a day of that powder you can get to de-worm dogs because i read online that people had used it to cure ulcers...drank that stuff every day for 3 months.

The only thing that helped even a little was changing the foods that I ate and drinking 10oz of homemade fermented cabbage juice every morning.
I did that for 3-4 years. Then the aca happened and I was able to go to the doctor and get these acid blockers that do more for the pain than the cabbage did. Now after a year or so of trying out acidblockers and antibiotics and this stuff that coats my stomach called sucralfate, and none of that curing me ether I am getting the camera put down into my stomach so we will know for sure what is in there.

Changing my diet is the one thing that has made any difference in the pain I feel everyday.

By the way I dare! anyone to try and even drink one 10oz glass of home made fermented cabbage juice. I dare you!
But guys my stomach could be hurting pretty bad but once I drink that stuff it, well it never stops hurting ,but it would calm down and not be so bad.
What i figured out was that cabbage has anti-inflammatory properties. And the pain in my stomach sure does feel like fire, like it's inflamed.

If he has said it since running for or being president please post it here.

I don't care what he said in the past. I know that he was much more left in the past then he appears to be now.
The actions and words he uses know are what matters.

Willing to put money on it that no matter how sweet this deal sounds, about 50% of the country will have a problem with it and claim it's killing people....

I just wish the Congress had done this. What Trump does via EO can just as easily be undone by the next person to occupy the office and the poison pill of the ACA is still hanging over us all.

It's so unfortunate that this is true.

I would like to see some of these rules made perma until something better comes along. Anyone else feeling the life sucking tenticals slightly easing up?
