Then in other area's there must be a huge problem I guess. I know there are a couple of huge Samoan's who are officers here, but if I were a bad guy, I'd run. They are heavily muscled powerful men. Hence my statement about how they are rated and by what standard.

Would say a six foot plus guy, 230/240 lbs with no body fat to speak of be considered overweight or do they have a way to compensate for that? Just a question, not a statement.

I am no softie lib. I have boxed, kick boxed, almost made a us junior team for judo, wrestled in college, and am a life long martial artist. Controlling adrenaline dumps and breathing is key in decision making under stress.

The armed forces trains for it.

If cops are in war zones with military equip they damn well better.

Soldiers have stricter rules of engagement and are far better conditioned. No comparison.

I just want to stress that this force we create enforces just laws. Right now they are not.

Cops will be the first to come try and save you if you need the help, and remove murderers and rapists etc from society, so they need our support. As well as the first responders, firemen etc. All good people.

Laws need to match the lethal force they are enforced with.

I don't really disagree. In departments where the standards are too lax, I can see your point. I'm just not around them.

I'm also not going to condemn any cop who puts their lives on the line and run towards danger, just because they are not Navy Seals or something. If they need an armored vehicle to protect them or body armor, they should have it.

You seem to feel strongly. Have you considered becoming a cop yourself? You do know that just finding people who are willing is a big problem. It's not like people are falling all over themselves to be hated, shot at, lied about and scorned by the people they risk their lives for.

If all your worried about is Sessions being against the legalization of weed when our government has been shown to be so corrupt they can be compared to governments in 3rd world countries???? No damn wonder we are in trouble!!!!

Try and make decent men that don't go out and shoot people who may not have the greatest life start.

Ps my buddy was stabbed when his fat partner couldn't catch up. He ended up still detaining the guy because he is a beast...but something needs to change.

I may come off as a phallus but I do care about people. To a fault. Sometimes I can be a little too intense. Have been home for a couple days after some particularly bad kidney stones so even more so. Stupid weight cutting in college supposedly made it worse for life.
