I live in a very special place in the southern Appalachians where the Cherokee tried to chase away the frog that eats the sun during each eclipse. This was the place where the last of them were rounded up and forced on the Trail of Tears. I don't plan on looking at it, but I do plan on being outside and 'feeling' the change. The coverage here is 100%, it should be really interesting.

If we're talking astrology, there are a great many videos on youtube regarding the negativity of this particular unlucky eclipse, especially regarding the president and our country.

What will be, will be.

My dad is probably the most level headed calm and rational guy I know, yet he has insisted my sister and her kids get off work early and be at home in doors when the eclipse comes.

He like me just feels there is something just over the horizon and he does not know what it is but wants to be careful, not necessarily about the eclipse itself but the crazy that may get boosted that we already see each day.

People always go crazy with there's a solar eclipse, lunar eclipse , and comets passing by. There's always doom porn and speculation of signs for whatever world issue is at hand .....Remember when hale bop came by , and people committed suicide to ride the comet forever .....just saying ,the world still turning and churning !

Your Father is wise to take heed of the event as are you. We don't know what might happen but energy is real and so is bad luck. I'd say the Vedas were by far, smarter than most aristocrat wannabes of our inclusive world.

Why ? Is it a sin to be rich?
You think birds feel guilty when a good summer produces a bumper crop of sunflowers?
Do the birds who don't have sunflower seeds get jealous of the ones that do and tell them that they are going to hell because they have more sunflower seeds?
What about being rich is bad because I've been both rich and poor and trust me rich is better.
I think maybe the sin is in not being grateful for what you have.

It's going to get dark for a few minutes. You're panicked over a shadow.
Turn the lights on. Shadows all gone.
The ancients had stuff figured out for sure otherwise we wouldn't be here. BUT... they were also filled with fear and superstition over things they didn't understand.
They were not possessed of any great knowledge that somehow got lost. They didn't have powers of perceptions that we are lacking.
They were humans with all the surprising wonder ingenuity and curiosity that we have and all the flaws that we have too.

Actually "hell" dont appear until the final judgement to take regular souls. And then its to just dispose of the souls that are ir redeemable at all. God loves his creations and hates to see them in un ending agony. Souls sent there will be reduced to nothing and it will be as if they never existed.

Check the Hebrew and why jews dont beleive in Hell. Also read this page i linked. The verses are studied and broken down to explain why some of us think like i suggested. Still powerful motivation to be good to others and live good as well. who wants to be erased? sheesh not I.
