The "I am not" was in response to your question as to whether or not I was a psychiatrist. I was not implying that I'm a free from prejudice. I thought my previous post made it clear as to my stance on the topic.

Anyways, the goal isn't to eliminate your biases and prejudices, it's to be wise enough to look past them and realize that there's probably a lot of opinions you hold in life that are wrong. And therefore consider ideas contrary to your own belief system.

I try not to pre- judge, but if a fat woman is slowy rolling down the middle of a grocery store aisle in a motorized cart with kids running all over and throwing junk food in the basket and I can't get by, It makes me mad.

I think you should have to have an actual disability to use the motorized carts at the grocery store.

Fat people should have to walk.

My prejudice is lazy fat people.

I'm totally prejudiced against fat and lazy people riding scooters.

See my edit, I expanded on the thought a bit. In an ideal world we're not free from prejudice. We're just not limited by it.

I'll be the first to admit,I am very predudice when it comes to fools and idiots,they act out in odd manner,then they open their mouths and remove doubt

Yup i admit it.

I am prejudiced to a certain group.

I dont "hate" anyone but i do have a mistrust against a group.

Doesn't mean once i get to know a individual of the group my prejudice to that invidual will remain.


And like most people i have a reason for the prejudice . My reason is being a victim of 6 acts of crime from that group.

Instead of standing on soap boxes calling us bigots and scum, how about we adress the reason behind some prejudices?
