Interesting. I have been accused of being racist for nothing more than knowing & proving that Obama is a lying fraud.

That is not my problem. I've never called you a racist.

IIRC, you even scoffed at me for proving he is.

I scoffed at you for being a birther. I was respectful to you up to that point and even though you hold some beliefs I find to be bat# crazy, I'm still respectful...as much as I can be.

You have plenty of room to work on your irrational bias. I base that on what you have proven to me.

Bias and prejudice, in my opinion, are two different things and I couldn't care less about what you think has been proven.

With all due respect, of course.

Oh, I know ... I admit it. I cannot stand potato salad and find it triggering.

Can't blame you for that. Most potato salads are horrible.

Something so simple, yet people can't manage to make it worth eating.

Then, why is it so hard for us to admit having those emotions when posting on ATS?

It's not difficult for me. I said it the other day on ATS. People on the left and right are equally prejudiced and no more or less prejudiced than me...in general.

Right! We're all pretty much equal in the prejudice realm. Only a few in society are so extreme that they actually seek to harm another person.

However, from some of the heated threads I've seen over the past few days, just a few "bad apples" can really raise havoc. I think EGOs are more sensitive than ever on ATS, and probably in society as a whole.

You weren't respectful. Not even close. You assumed because I am a *gasp* dreaded 'birther' that I am not worth sh*t.

You wrote:

That's irrational and biased and prejudiced...and just plain ignorant & elitist. I PROVED Obama's short form birth certificate copy is not legally certified and, instead, bears a fraudulent debossed seal. But since I am a 'birther' you decided to scoff, instead of weighing the prima facie evidence provided. Prejudice. Bias. Elitism. Supremacy. That's YOU, Introvert. You are the things you claim to denounce!

You are prejudiced, biased, and irrational based on political bias. With all due respect, of course.

I proved my point to you and you couldn't argue it BUT you sure didn't concede to it or consider it seriously. Maybe that's because I am a woman. But, my argument was strictly the recitation of laws/regulation and what Factcheck.org errantly claimed.

Your response to me was purely driven by prejudice and bias. Both. Just irrational.

Again, all due respect.

They can. There are many scrumptious potato salad recipes out there. All potato salads are not equal/equally awful.

Sometimes people cannot handle honesty and find it disrespectful. I think it's more respectful to be honest.

No matter. That is not my problem.

Edit: I did not say you weren't worth #. Do not make things up.

That's irrational and biased and prejudiced...and just plain ignorant & elitist.

It's irrational to fabricate nonsense, as you just did.

You are prejudiced, biased, and irrational based on political bias. With all due respect, of course.

Of course I am biased. I have my own thoughts and beliefs. As for the rest, I am not worried about your definition of what is or is not rational.

I proved my point to you and you couldn't argue it and you sure didn't concede to it or consider it seriously.

You proved nothing. That is why it was not taken seriously or concede to it.

Maybe that's because i am a woman.

What does that have to do with anything? Did you just play the "sex card" for absolutely no rational reason?

Your response to me was purely driven by prejudice and bias. Both. Just irrational.

My response to you was based on reasonable logic and you just happened to not like it.

Again, all due respect.

I don't need your respect. I need reason and logic. Considering you played the "sex card", we can reasonably conclude that you are not willing to provide neither.

Doesn't matter if the recipe is good. What matters is the person's ability to make it properly.

Most cannot. Most people could not cook to if their life depended on it.

Quite an odd topic to debate, but whatever.

Simple minds find not-hard ways to get away with being an a-hole.

Doesn't make you superior, at all. It makes you simple minded and intolerant.

It actually matters if the recipe is good or bad.

No, I'm saying that racism is the same as being prejudiced over a certain trait.

Being prejudiced against a 400lb person isn't the same as racism.

I've always held the belief that all people are prone to conscious or subconscious predjudical thoughts. We are an amalgamation of experiences and learned behaviours and are all susceptible to an errant predjudical thought especially when in a situation clouded with emotion.

It is whether or not we understand that those thoughts are wrong and whether or not we chose to act in accordance with those thoughts that define us as a person.

The word you are looking for is "easy"..."easy" is the word you wanted to use there.

Using phrases like "not-hard" isn't helping your case here.

That's the problem. People think they need a recipe.

They rely on instructions to tell them how to do things instead of learning how to "cook".

That same mentality follows in to many other areas.

Whatever, Introvert.

I invited you to have a discussion on the actual merits of my argument. You scoffed because I was a self-proclaimed 'birther' and ended it at that.

You admit it. Don't twist it into something *better* than that.

You shut me down because you believe anyone who doubts Obama's birth certificate is authenticate is not worthy of your time. You felt superior.

You were/are wrong and biased..prejudiced. And it's irrational.
