POLICE bust Child Porn website with 87,000 users!

German police have busted a child porn website with 87,000 members and arrested a man they accuse of running it.
Officers detained the 39-year-old, who has not been identified, north of Frankfurt. Several suspected users were arrested across Germany and Austria
They are all accused of involvement in a forum called Elysium, which had operated on the 'Darknet' since the end of 2016.

The website was used for the worldwide exchange of child pornography and to make appointments for the sexual abuse of children, prosecutors said.
"Among the child pornographic images and video files exchanged by the members of the platform were recordings of the most serious sexual abuse of children, including toddlers and depiction of sexual violence against children," it said.

The suspected operator was arrested on June 12 when police raided his apartment and seized the server of the platform.
The statement did not say how many people had been arrested in total, adding that more details of the case would be made available at a news conference on Friday.

This is such good news. As far as I'm concerned pedophiles are the scum of the Earth and I really hope that children are saved from these abusive situations as a result of this. From what I know of the DarkNet most index sites (pages that list all the market places and sites on the darknet) consider pedophile web pages as pariahs. There are a few darknet blogs and hactivasts that dox pedophiles and provide lists of their details - it seems that most of the drug dealers/etc on the DN draw the line at CP.

In my opinion, the statistics we have regarding the prevalence of pedophilia in our society is grossly inaccurate.

I believe the percentage is something like 2-5% of men and .5-1% of women are pedophiles.

With the top porn search being "teen", and sites like this boasting 87k users, and constant news regarding massive pedophile busts, a pedophile epidemic in what seems to be all governments, a pedophile epidemic in Hollywood, so on and so forth, it wouldn't surprise me if the numbers weren't closer to 1:10 or even 2:5.

I just hope they can use information gleaned from this site to save some of those poor kids.

That and bring the SOBs doing this down. Wherever they are.

But, the percentage of main players in this fallen world...., you know, military and any level of government officialdom is way higher......

"Elysium" is one of my favorite words (hence the whole "Aleezium" thing.)

So I'm pretty put off by the fact they used such a beautiful name for such a disgusting "hobby" "fetish" whatever you call it.

I'm glad they busted them though. Kids need to be left alone.

Death's too good for that scum. They really need a taste of their own medicine IMHO...or at the very least the removal of their sexual organs. They don't deserve human rights and should be treated like the animals they are.

At least it didn't operate for long.

Some of these things last years without ever being taken down.

I hope everyone who was a member is hunted down and gets an appropriately severe sentence, though it is Germany and Austria so I'm not gonna hold my breath at any real justice being carried out, especially given the leniency in which they've handled paedophile cases in the past.

Maybe they should just publish the information and addresses of those involved in things like this. Wouldn't take long for justice to take its illustrious course that way.

The attitude seems to scale out as well. If you have children you will have certainly noticed the disconnect in many cases where other adults interact with children without much consideration of the child's parents where there should be. Coaches calling and asking for your child without even acknowledging the parent ect, building relationships excluding the parent at inappropriate ages or without the motions to vet themselves with the parents.

The difference is they've done something to deserve such a fate.

Personally I think those willingly accessing or in possession of child pornography, unless they have a very good excuse should be hanged no more than 72 hours after their trial, no appeal...
