That's not correct. This is the TOR network. It just doesn't work like that. The only care you need is to not give out your private information, and disable scripts. Nothing more sophisticated is necessary.

My comment was to stormcell's post. In that post you can see two links to two other cases. In both cases the police got access to the server, and while in the first the police used a "specially crafted" video that started a second Internet connection using the computers regular (non-TOR) network connection and getting the users' real IP addresses, in the second they could only use the data that forum users' sent to the forum, including passwords and private messages (from which I suppose they got more information than the from the rest).

TOR is not a "invisibility cloak", if people want to remain anonymous the need to do more than just use TOR.

Luckily, most criminals are not that smart.

14 out of 89,000 shows you how little effort is needed here.

87,000. Apparently, in this case the police did not kept the server active.

In my opinion, the statistics we have regarding the prevalence of pedophilia in our society is grossly inaccurate.

I believe the percentage is something like 2-5% of men and .5-1% of women are pedophiles.

With the top porn search being "teen", and sites like this boasting 87k users, and constant news regarding massive pedophile busts, a pedophile epidemic in what seems to be all governments, a pedophile epidemic in Hollywood, so on and so forth, it wouldn't surprise me if the numbers weren't closer to 1:10 or even 2:5.

How much of that is real? Conspiracy theories are rarely checked for accuracy. I personally don't believe the number of pedos out there is very high because sex at that age is the worst. I started to have sex at age 14. I don't have any fond memories of the sex I had at that age. Sex got much better as I got older and figured out what I was doing. I get people being into 16+ because by 16 people start to get better at sex, but pedo sex has to be in the weird fetish category that few people like. I can't picture how that can be enjoyable to a normal person. No experience. No boobs. No arses. No curves. No big "cucumbers." Nothing is there that will turn on a normal person. That's why I feel that true pedos that go after prepubescent children are rare. 87k users for an online site is a low number because people can go there from all over the world.

I especially don't believe that a lot of politicians are pedos. Perverts, yes. Pedos, no. Pizzagate shows how easily people believe foolish lies. If we look at Bills women we see a very obvious trend. He's not going to go from that to prepubescent girls. Pedos that are into that tend to have very young looking lovers, usually Asian women that are 18 but look much younger. Bill liked the blonde playboy playmate bimbo type. Interestingly, Bill & Trump seemed to have the same type.

Notice how this made very little news, even though it is a huge bust?

We are distracted by Melania Trump handshakes and Donald Trump blunders...

As soon as the dragnet takes down known Americans in Washington and LA involved in this.. heinous abomination against children and childhood innocence, then it will be a whole new era.

But if that doesn't happen, then as far I'm concerned, the hope many pin on Trump and Sessions will be proven to have been falsely placed.

I don't think there are two ways around it.

It's the lynchpin for bringing down the whole "elite" satanic evil wicked system and structure. Just one big scandal and the dominos would fall one after another, and then there'd be no more "dominos on pizza or hotdogs".

I wouldn't call 14 people arrested a "huge bust", but it's a good start.

First they arrest them, then they'll apologize for having arrested them, just like the Toronto Police did with the gay community.

Executions have been around for quite along time. Both publicly and behind closed doors. We still have states that carry death penalty via lethal injection.
Killing a person for their crime doesn't have to be made public. Never the less, knowing you might get the death penalty for a specific action can be a good deterrent.

Actually they discovered that the death penalty is not a deterrent. However, executed killers never kill again. And I agree in most cases, violating someone else's right to life should result in loss of your own.

I have mixed feelings on the death penalty... For something that is supposed to serve as a deterrent it does anything but that. Especially when it comes to organized crime (whether it be gangs, drug smuggling, mafia, etc) where there is no due process and their executions are a lot less dainty than what the state does.

For a culture that has issues with Islam we seem to be ok with the concept of an eye for an eye. To take it one step further executing a person for killing someone else seems to be sanctioned retribution on behalf of the family who lost the loved one.

Looking at China, North Korea, Iran and Saudi Arabia we can see the death penalty doesnt act as a deterrent in those countries either.

Just my observations / 2 cents.

By that thought many of the world leaders should
be put down, right?!?
All wars violate the right to life...No?!?
And as a leader standing idle by and watching children die
of hunger, and they do..Dont even think about saying anything
else...
NOT that i dissagree on the punishment for violating children.
That should even be considered worse than killing..

"Laws" are for little people, holding the hot iron of morality to their actions, so that the real bad guys (at the top) can act with impunity. In the name of the law, of course.
