Do You Know America? Do You Love America? Then, Time To Show Some Self Respect!

I have been away from ATS for a little while and was going to see how long I could refrain form posting on here...No, I'm kidding, I have just been extremely busy, with life. However, I received an email yesterday that I think needs to be shared with America and ALL of her citizens.

Before I even post, let me please say these are not my words but I do support the man that wrote them. This letter does not seek to pit Republicans against Democrats but it does separate true Americans from people living here, born here or not that act like America is the is the worst country on the planet. So with that I give you this letter from a man who has spent his entire life fighting for America.

Because I am a “lifer” in the military, I’ve seen the impact of a president more than many of you can imagine. I enlisted with LBJ and saw just what a Democrat clusterflock was all about. I went to Vietnam and saw how we were constantly and incessantly bombarded with micromanagement from Washington that got thousands of military people killed. I sometimes wonder if I’ll get to heaven, but if I go to hell, I’m sure I’ll still be a few hundred floors above that bastard Robert McNamara , LB Johnson, John Kerry, Jane Fonda, and yes, even the “hero” John McCain.

After Johnson “abdicated” rather than having his ass waxed, I lived through Nixon who was hawkish but allowed the generals (and there WERE a few real generals back then versus now) run the show. Nixon was so out of touch that he never knew North Vietnam was about to surrender when the Paris Accord was presented.

Only God could help us after Gerald Ford was beaten by Jimmy 'Peanuts' Carter who’d been funded by Saudi money. The military was turned into Section 8 and even the White house suffered the austerity.

Don't forget politically affiliated Judges that stop a President's decision... when has that happened before?...Judge in Hawaii jumps on the band wagon..give me a break, I'm sure Hawaii has legions of south of the border, or middle east infiltrations..lol

We could solve all this, and just send them all to Hawaii and let that judge reap his reward...lol

So there you have the letter...I shared because i am so tired of All people who are unwilling to get behind the President..or to stop throwing up road blocks every single day!! It is no lie that I could NOT stand Obama but never in a million years would I have attended a protest against the PRESIDENT!! Why? Because regardless of how I "felt" about his stupid policies...At the end of the day he was still PRESIDENT! Out of SELF RESPECT Common Sense I understood to go out an publicly protest and act in a vitriolic way was only going to cause further divide and more hate for this country! It would have weakened America even further in the World stage!! We were already weakened by policy the last thing we needed was for the country to began to separate between her people!!

This is exactly what you do when you go out and start a propaganda war against our President!! For the first time in God only knows how long America looks STRONG to the rest of the world!!

The reason President Trump waited until he was dining with President Xi Jinping of China to reveal to him and the rest of the world, the United States Military had just bombed Syria's chemical cache was to demonstrate that the United States is strong and would not be bullied by the likes of North Korea's little nut bar! That. if Xi Jinping did not do everything in it's power to reign in KIM Jung Un the US would!! Knowing that he himself faced a greater threat of Nuclear War than the USA Xi Jinping was prompted to act!

This is only one example of how America is on her way back to to the top. So I say to you, if you cannot get behind President Donald Trump, then maybe you shouldn't call America your home..and maybe you should re think where you want to put down roots! That goes out to every citizen, permanent resident and illegal here...Get out! Leave! You make us weak and with all happening in the world on all fronts we can no longer afford to be weak.

You do not have to love Trump but you demonstrate a lack of self respect when you go out and protest in mob like fashion screaming "HE IS NOT YOUR PRESIDENT" So stop hurting the greater good because "your guy" didn't win!

Whether you agree with me or not I want to hear your opinion on this letter or anything else i said.

Remember intelligent discussion means you shoot the message not the messenger....

Yes yes and yes!!! I so agree with you!! It's truly ridiculous when a State Court Judge has more jurisdiction than the President of the United States..how sick and sad that is .Those judges should be disbarred for breaking the law! And the lawyers as well...

I joined the military when Nixon what the bad ass pres, spent some time in asia only find out that herion was in the coffins, life is sad when you find out how bad the elected officials are in charge of your life

My opinion is that s/he is pretty spot on. In regards to you post comment and self respect I feel the same way ( is there an echo?). Couldn't stand O and instead of wasting time in the streets, just waited until the next election with my ears perked a little higher.

Getting out of the country may be a little harsh. Learning the system may be better and more importantly how to go about changing it. You can't play a baseball game with football rules then cry about the result.

Awe....very sweet!!! thank you!! Yes, i needed a break for a little bit....but have made some awesome friends here that I missed....

I just thought if anyone deserved to sy those things it was the man that wrote that! i wanted to share and maybe "stir the pot" a little....hahahaha not me! Right! Lol....seriously though. The people that live in this country need to get behind the President and if you can't do that then just please don't cause such a scene.

Thank you for sharing your email with us. I found it to be inspiring. I agree with the message 100%. And this is coming from a former open borders, Democratic Party lines voter, liberal but just left of center idiot. I didn't vote for Hillary in 08 and I certainly wasn't going to vote for her in '16. The Democratic Party forced yet another Dem voter to register republican because they felt it was "her turn". I'm happy to say I am now just right of center, a believer and protector of the constitution and someone who supports our country, our borders, and our American people.
