The entire article was devoid of actually using a named, verifyable source.
And if this guy wrote a book off of unnamed source info about speculations about the governments plans...then this qualifies as fiction.

An attack on Iran will be coming unless revolutionaries there overthrow the government soon on their own.

The only question is will it be before or after Iran nukes Israel or another country?

Look at the realities of the situation, Iran has had 2 whole years to diplomatically steady themselves for any military onslaught. They are even so bold to state that they will not give up their nuclear program as it is for energy and not weapons. Between the French, China or Russia, there should be some diplomatic headway when things get more serious. Just do not let the Americans "talk" to the Iranians.

Iran, has always been a interesting area for the US, not because of Iran, itself, but the old Soviet Union. One problem for the old Soviet Union is they have always had few warm water ports. So it was speculated that in a time of war or crisis we could possibly see the old Soviet Union make a move on Iran, to not only control some warm water ports, but for he strategic value of their oil fields and the possiblity to control the flow of oil out of the gulf. With the old Soviet Union now defunct this idea had gone out the window. Untill a new and growing movement had started taking place. With Putin, now placing old symbols of the Soviet Union all over the country and a resurgence of the communists party. It has the US once again mulling over old possibilities.
