Mysterious Creature/Alien/Mutant/Human(oid?)/Lost Tribe Caught on camera!

I have NO IDEA where to put this one, so if our Wonderful Mods want to move this thread, be my guest!

Now this is just weird! Or, maybe not so much...

A group of friends were trail riding their dirtbikes in Indonesia, near Jakarta. The lead rider spotted something in the trail ahead, (im assuming he thought it was a person) and dumps his bike. All his friends stop except one who sees the "life form" in the road and gives chase. The chase lasts about 5 seconds. The life form out runs the dirt bike. Thats right, OUTRUNS the dirt bike.

Could it be a hoax? Its probable. The 'creature' is very small, but ive seen grown adults with dwarfism smaller then this thing. The speed that it moves is unreal though.
Digging into my bag of theories and assumptions, i would guess (if the video is genuine and not hoaxed) this may be a lost tribe of some sort???
If anyone has anything on this, please let me know.
I cant find too much info on this video outside of the location & date.

I think their reactions are quite believable. Looks like a naked man. Might be an outcast who lives alone. I don't know how sometimes disabled [dwarfism?] people are treated in rural Indonesia?
But it seems to be a man regardless.

I wouldn't say that it out runs the dirt bikes. The dirt bikes stop .. the object runs off .. dirt bikes ride to catch it up after they have stopped .. and then they can't get close enough before it jumps into a bush. Just looks like a child from a tribe maybe ?

I'll see if I can throw it in Adobe After Effects to reduce the Brightness, increase Contrast and reduce the exposure a bit.

From my initial first views, it looks legitimate. The reactions seem natural. The movement of the 'tribesperson' seems organic.

Looks plausible for now.

I will go out on a limb and say CGI.
After the initial sighting, the motorcycle chases the alleged being and sees him again. If yoou slow the footage down, you can see where the 'being' runs through the mud.... but leaves no tracks in the mud.

I'll join you on that limb , at about 30s it runs into the grass but there's no movement of the grass when it enters.

Seems fairly well done though.

I kept replaying the 16-17 second mark on the video on where the small naked person is first seen on camera. The helmet cam gives a sharper image of the startled individual facing the group with the walking stick in hand before he takes off running.

I was thinking cgi at first too since it seemed like he just appeared out of no where, but then realized that the small individual entered the main path from the angled side dirt path. I wish this old IPad could take screen shots, sigh....maybe someone could capture that sharper image before the individual turns and runs away. After that point, the helmet cam is in motion and the images are not as sharp.

Interesting video though. I would have to wonder if this is simply an individual outcast from society too. Does not seem to be CGI though.

Edit add: regarding the grass...there is obviously a fresh path of bent stalks through the grass. You can see that is what they followed and discovered the stick that the small individual was carrying while he was running.

Pretty bad CGI. Freeze the first frame when the "alien" appears. It is darker and more defined than the objects closer to the camera. It runs like a CGI character and disappears like one.

One thing I noticed is that when it runs into the tall grass, none of it is moving like something is running through it.

Were you guys drunk stoned or otherwise?

Yeah i saw a naked guy too. Was this in mexico cause everyone sounds like their mexican. Just wondering.

Dudes are lucky they didn't take a spear to the chest and become the tribes dinner.

I think it could easily be a "lost tribe" person. He runs fast, but not unusually fast. He doesnt look too big, but dont think he is that small either, but hard to say for sure. Dont think this is a "dwarf" but just a small man

No, it wasn't moving, but the area it ran into was disturbed and flattened, as if something had blazed a trail through it.

After the creature disappears into the grass, the guy looks back the trail ans there appears to be water lying in puddles in the path. Maybe it is the poor quality of the video, but I see water reflecting in various places on the trail.

I'd like to see the grass move when he runs in there but i dont.

Plus when they approach him he cant be seen until they are right at him?

Im going with CGI because of these 2 reasons

ETA; watched again. Grass doesn't sway for very long, watch when the cycle guys walk into it.

After researching Indonesia, there seems to be 3 well known indigenous tribes there.

I would say that this is not a lost tribal member, but simply one of the member of a known indigenous tribe. Whether Yali, Dani, etc. in the past year, there seems to be a lot of news about indigenous tribes losing land rights etc.

Still fascinating video, but nothing mysterious.

Edit add: just a side note: apparently, the Yali tribe were into cannibalism in their recent past. Egad!


Edit add2: More specifically:

lowland Yali tribe members are significantly different from highland Yali. Men don’t wear rattan skirts, only kotekas. Women don’t wear small four-layer skirts, but long skirts made of grass. It could be hence said that they are not as interesting as the mountain Yali, but the opposite is true. Lowland Yali almost live in isolation and are thus affected by outside influence only to a very small degree. It is fantastic to visit both cultures during one trek. A descent from the mountains to the lowland can be a very pleasant experience, considering that our diet changes as well. The diet of sweet potatoes might change to buamera (pandan fruit) or even sago.

I'm going to have to back you on this one as well.

At the 13-14 sec mark, if you keep an eye to the right, you'll notice something moving, a path becomes clear and of course there it is running.

Secondly, I wouldn't say it outran the bike, it didn't even look like it was at full throttle.

Lastly, anybody living in the woods like that, I am pretty sure they are quick, LIKE REALLY QUICK! It doesn't look like an alien or creature, but a man. Probably a child or a really small man.
