Do you apply the same thinking to intelligence reports? If so, you might want to look at the relationship between GCHQ and the NSA, not to mention the rest of the Five Eyes network.

I work in IT for a Native American Sovereign Government, and it is policy for ALL user desktops not to store any tribal data on the local machine/tablet/phone, etc.

We reimage PCs and portables every few months.

ALL pcs, and its not because we are hiding evidence
