The first question that sprung to my mind was; why does the government need to give millions of dollars to the Muslim community to counter violent extremism? I thought the general argument is that Muslim's are peaceful and just want to live their lives like everyone else? The money isn't to improve communities or anything (which is probably what is required, as migrant communities tend to be poorer communities) it's specifically to counter violent extremism so, that means the violent extremism has to already be in that community for it to be countered. And judging by the sums of money involved it would suggest it's quite a significant problem.
The usual narrative in regards islamic extremism is "nothing to see here, it's all just racism/islamophobia", "there's no issue in the Muslim community" etc. The mere existence of these grants would suggest otherwise.

Just to be clear, this isn't a denial that there's issues in other communities, i'm certain there is, just that this seems to indicate that some people's fears regarding islamic communities aren't as unjustified as they're being told.

What people do not know about tends to draw fear and hate instead of curiosity to learn more. For example, trans...they are mentally unstable to an ignorant. Somehow the ignorant is a psychiatrist and can dole out mental issues.

A non-Christian is feared or deserves pity bc they are evil or "lost".

Gays do not deserve equal rights bc it was dreamed up somewhere that marriage is only for a man and a woman...cannot think past that...must go hide behind bible.

Probably not necessarily with you, but can you follow how lack of understanding leads to bigotry & hate,

The things you mention aren't about a lack of knowledge, but about differences of opinion. When we disagree, that doesn't mean we "fear" or "hate" the other person; it only means we disagree. This habit, so common these days, of claiming hate and fear, in the face of any opposition, is quite tiresome. It ruins any chance for meaningful discussion, or logical debate, and makes finding any common ground impossible, for the people so labeling.

what you call "disagree" really is ...bigotry and hate

Sugar-coat is all you like...its still hate

Just like evading a simple question is just another way of spreading a lie. Answer the question....without attacking the person asking the question.

And, BTW, you still have not refuted the points of fact I made earlier....avoiding them are you?

Well, here they are again, in case you forgot.

The hate we can all see is coming from the Left, from those who run people out of business, and attack people for having a different opinion, and use violence and threats of violence to silence any opposition. Sugar coat that all you like it won't change a thing.

Something I found this morning.

Seems to fit the op somewhat.

Center for Security Policy
An Explanatory Memorandum: From the Archives of the Muslim Brotherhood in America

We at the Center for Security Policy feel it is important for Americans to better understand– and, then, be able to successfully contend with– those that attempt to destroy or subvert our way of life. As making our nation’s enemies’ threat doctrines available is a key part of our educational efforts, we are pleased to present the blueprint for the Muslim Brotherhood in America, known as An Explanatory Memorandum: On the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America or, in America’s largest terrorist prosecution in US federal court, Government Exhibit 003-0085 3:04-CR-240-G in U.S. v Holy Land Foundation, et al.

Another extraordinarily important element of the Memorandum is its attachment. Under the heading “ A List of Our Organizations and Organizations of Our Friends,” Akram helpfully identified 29 groups as Muslim Brotherhood fronts. Many of them are even now, some twenty-two years later, still among the most prominent Muslim- American organizations in the United States. Worryingly, the senior representatives of these groups are routinely identified by U.S. officials as “leaders” of the Muslim community in this country, to be treated as “partners” in “countering violent extremism” and other outreach initiatives. Obviously, this list suggests such treatment translates into vehicles for deep penetration of the American government and civil society.

www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org...

Lots of reading.

Yet, you still fail to address the point. Why?

Alternative truths? No, try reality.

Enough, or do you need more? Thousands where those came from!
