Spinach is just as likely to infect you with ecoli as bacon.

It's not about the product, it's about the conditions it's prepared in. Mass manufacturing food is bad.

If you want to ban meat, do it over some REAL issue, like massive overpopulation of our species, or the environmental impact of our mass meat farms.

yes, factory farms are an issue, and that they took over many smaller farms and ranches- one source

That's true but many(such as ones who lobby the laws) argue it isn't an environmental issue. Looks like now with the California/ Brown's methane bill(Senate Bill 1383 ), meat prices may rise-one source. That could change some eating habits.

I'm giving suggestions to a ban on meat consumption. Not only for ethical reasons but also for public safety reasons.

I am not sure of the motivation behind your post but ...

You seem to be part of this new wave of people that crave government regulation, the government cannot replace common sense, if you do not want to eat meat don't...Why force your views on others ?

There are many problems with our civilization, banning meat will solve nothing , if anything it will push more people into starvation and malnutrition ....

It's mandatory because meat eaters still put other non-meat eaters at risk.

Quarantining is a necessary evil.

Every time I've seen or heard about people getting sick from meat, it's always been for one of the following reasons:

1) Improper handling and sanitation.

2) Improper cooking.

3) Cross Contamination.

I've known more people to get sick from eating plants that were treated with pesticides than people who have gotten sick from eating meat.

It's called inefficiency.

There is a high margin of error with such high population density and high consumption rates. Go inside your slaughter houses and see how workers over look many standard operating procedues.

Many get complacent when doing meat handling.

If you don't want to eat meat, then fine. . . more for me.

If you intend to prevent ME from eating meat, then you will lose that fight.

I have also given suggestions on synthetic meat and meat made from plant protein.

There are alternatives in which you wouldn't even know the difference.

Synthetic Ground Beef

Synthetic Shrimp

So you're saying you're on gear then? Judging by your previous post of "training to. Each 400lbs"

You're contradicting yourself.....

And depending the goals and macros you could need over 200g protein a day...

There is no ethical reason to stop eating meat....

The only thing unethical is your insistence on pushing your agenda to make everyone else change because you don't like it

You didn't answer my question ....

And please don't go there. I'm a personal trainer, I train everyone from housewives to BB competitors...

From needing to loose 100 lbs plus, to pre show prep, I'm quite confident I know how it works

OP has tried pushing this agenda in a couple threads now. It's just nonsense vegan propaganda.

Humans are perfectly adapted to eat meat and vegetables. We are at our most healthy when consuming a balanced diet.

People have died from infections. Take your blinders off.

No.

You're creating a sensational title that is misleading.

That is unless you can show that there is a mandatory ban on meats somewhere.

Recommend you edit it to read "I think we need" or "I suggest" in the title.
