I've finally settled on a plan now that I've been out for almost a year.

I want to get into alternative energy markets and maybe start a business retrofitting homes and businesses with modernized power generation systems, integrated connectivity, and smart home tech.

Company.

Flight Company Platoons are separated by Flights. I was 2nd Flight the whole time I was in the army.

Squadrons are an air force thing.

Artillery companies are known as batteries, and infantry companies are known as janitors and landscapers.

The best part about this thread, for me, is being able to meet the other veterans who are ATS members.

There's no community quite like ATS. Same with the veteran community.

Honestly im just messing with you man just some typical army humor, mainly because very few know what pride you and I will share especially on ats.

Congrats on being a normal civy. Hope you get used to the lack of regimen. I miss the regimentation of the military. Always being in a certain place at a certain time. Uniforms. Self-discipline. Orderly. Which civilian life lacks the order that military life does.

Thanks for saying that. I feel the same.
One has to wonder how twisted and bitter a person has to be to feel the need to insult a member of the armed forces just because they decide to share a slice of their experience.

Friend, just quit while you are ahead behind. You act like the man was there to exterminate people. You don't have to thank him (I myself find it cheesy when people say that), but you could at least show him respect. Never soapbox a warrior.
