I do. I just think he has to be strategic about the execution of things. He does have to look out for the well being of us all. He can't make policies or change that doesn't benefit all Americans. That would be ridiculous.

I think people want a nuclear bomb on topics when he doesn't have to go that route to fulfill his promises.

Want hillary in jail? Put a special prosecutor over ALL campaign and finance discretions. You'll get her along with others. Everyone benefits.

Build a wall? Well there already is one. Make it better. Enforce it better. No one is in favor of ILLEGAL immigration. Stop ILLEGAL immigration and we all win.

Destroy ISIS? Doesn't have to be just us. Repair relationships with Russia and both of us take them out. Everybody wins.

He can still deliver, just not in the scorched earth kind of way.

You know, MOM, I think that Trumpa is just now finding out about The Butterfly Effect. Wasn't evident to him while he was campaigning.

So, he finds out he actually won, actually goes to the White House, actually talks seriously with a sitting POTUS..... haha something I told my son to do before he thought about going into a certain field, sit down seriously with someone in the field and have a talk about what it's really like..... and then it dawns on him that HE'S the biggest butterfly, and what he would do has major implications beyond either his personal life or his business.

I agree, and that's kinda my point.. He won that election on verbose statements that would never happen and yet no one called him on it, he won't do it, and no one will call him on it. All elected officials run a campaign on minor issues that can be brushed under the carpet or manipulated one way or the other " we're going to improve personal income, were going to lower crime, we're going to lower taxes" .. All of these can be manipulated to show improvement based on the numbers. " im putting Hillary in jail, im stopping Muslims coming into the country, im building a wall" .. These are stone cold facts that ppl can see in 6 mths "you didn't do that". Im not faulting trump as a president, im just saying he will demonstrably be shown as not delivering on anything he said he will do. , therefor he's same as usual, be on the golf course while those that do... See the post, it's not about rallying the troops, it's simply about pointing out the fact he made comments (im not even going to hold him as in campaign promises) that he is already back peddling on- nothing more - nothing less. a reply to: agenda51

It is probably a better option for Trump in the regard that no matter how ugly things get during the amendment process, by not removing it altogether, it will always be President Obama's baby and where the blame will always fall. Trump can change it up as much as he wants and still come away clean this way.

His supporters are cult like with an almost emotional/quasi sexual/religious attachment to him and make excuses for his flip flop and blame in on Obama, the lefties or something. It's an established conservative pattern. Why do you think it's gonna change.
