Beholding The Fall (an autumn poem)

The summer comes to an end.
Autumn is on the way.
The kids are going back to school.
The pools are put away.
I enjoy the cooler air.
But I’m also filled with woe.
Because I know very soon.
I’ll have to shovel snow.

I love Autumn but dislike Winter although can certainly appreciate it's beauty.

Hahahaha.

I have been watching NOAA very closely. Seems my area is heading for another 2013/2014 winter.

I was 400 miles south of where I was in that year. And it was horrible.

In 2013/2014 winter, Lake Superiour had a record freeze.

I am preparing for a hard cold, and lots preciptaion.
