In some places yes. Once a critical mass is reached in a certain area the whole look, feel and culture of the place is changed. There are some parts of England that you'd never know you were actually in England if you'd woken up there. I live 30 miles south of Birmingham. When I drive into the city from the south I pass areas that are simply nothing at all like England from 30 years ago. They are now muslim towns that would not look out of place in a run of the mill middle eastern city.

Some areas of the East End of London (like Newham) are basically muslim towns, changed forever.

Also in America - one entire town already blares out muslim prayer calls multiple times a day through loud speakers and is now majority muslim. It doesn't look like America anymore.

Frankly it is just the way things are and not really a Muslim thing, it's just when you bring in too many people of different cultures who are not interested in assimilating, the host nations' culture will eventually die out.

A country like Germany, for example, is finished. In a few generations it will be like Iran, with colder weather.

Absolute rubbish in my opinion and I know plenty of people who live in Birmingham, in fact I once worked there for a year.

What do you want America to look like, white?

I don't agree at all, I think its just some people are don't like change. This older generation who just want things to stay as they are and blame other people for all their own problems.

This false sense of entitlement to a piece of land and talk about losing their culture. Who are you to say what cultures change and evolve over time. The underline tone you get from people who talk about losing their culture is that they want an all-white populous and are intolerant of anyone who doesn't fit their criteria. It's Nazi ideology.

You obviously have no clue about some of the surrounding areas of Birmingham, which your comment highlights perfectly. Makes me wonder what else you have no clue about that you are happy to comment on and claim some knowledge...

Not sure why you would ask about white people when I was talking about culture and specifically religion. Perhaps you have some internal racial issues of your own.

I think it's probably best to ignore you - if I am lucky you will go away.

What utter bollocks. You sound like a flyer for the BNP or the EDL.

There are a lot of muslims in some areas, you dont like muslims, therefore you have a problem and cry that "this isnt the UK from 30 years ago".

What do you want? Rations? Little jimmy getting on his bike and waving to the neighbours as he goes to get a loaf of Hovis? You want the white milkman to deliver white milk to all the white fold on the street... muslims and foreigners a distant threat that doesnt come up often. Dad goes off to the factory in the morning and comes home for roast beef and yorkshire pudding tea, eaten at 5.30pm. Is that what you are crying for? The "good old days"?

Yeah, well, times and things change buddy. Either lag behind and become bitter and full of hate or progress, your choice.

The rest of us, the tolerant ones, have no issues. And yes, i'm from the UK, from North London where there are a LOT of muslims. And they are all exceptionally friendly (as most muslims are).

The question related to places in the UK, not the whole UK. Nor did I say I don't like muslims and I utterly reject your smears.
Now, wind your neck in and stop being so intolerant of others' views.

I'm guessing most of your knowledge comes from The Sun newspaper, you opinions appear clueless, fear based and drip fed from the racist propaganda. You should be ashamed of your comments. Keep locking yourself in your room typing about evil foreigners stealing your culture.

The ignorance in this thread is hilarious.

OT: I thought his speech was near perfect.

He had a dig at Obama, Hillary, big banks, big corporations, status quo and the establishment.

He highlighted how all the fear-mongering from the experts of Project Fear have been found out to be bull#.

He gave more people optimism and encouragement to get out there and campaign for what they believe in.

More importantly, he didn't tell y'all how to vote, unlike Obama.

You know he made his money in banking then? No, probably not. And standing next to an alleged billionaire with financial links to Soros and China of course doesn't show any hypocrisy either I guess.

Obama didn't tell anyone how to vote, but told of the fact that an Economic group would fare better than a single country. Farage (really pronounced garage but he hates that, like someone who's name is bucket prefers it to be pronounced bouqet) didn't say how to vote, but why he wouldn't vote for Clinton. In a two horse race that's fairly much giving the game away isn't it?

Populist soundbites, designed to win over the plebiscites - usually does the trick with the majority who want to hear what they want, not the details.

So, in a mixture of two posts you said...

When I drive into the city from the south I pass areas that are simply nothing at all like England from 30 years ago. They are now muslim towns that would not look out of place in a run of the mill middle eastern city.

You then said....

Not sure why you would ask about white people when I was talking about culture and specifically religion.

So, if you are driving through a city, driving mind, how do you know the religion of anyone? I'll grant you the exception of a lady wearing headgear/burka that would be associated with Islam, but the men? How exactly do you know their religion?

You really might as well be honest about your views, makes it easier for everyone, but I know you won't.

Here is one example regarding your comment.

Alum Rock High Street Birmingham.

1970's

And more or less the same location in 2007.

Inner City area's of Birmingham such as Handsworth, Hockley, Winson Green, Sparkhill, Sparkbrook, Washwood Heath, Neachells, Lozells, Ladywood, Perry Barr, Small Heath, Cape Hill, Aston ,Bearwood, Moseley, Short Heath, Newtown etc etc would also show the same dramatic cultural changes over the years.

For context, probably worth pointing out that recent picture is directly after a car has ram raided a jewellers, letting off a smoke bomb as part of the heist - to suggest that it's a regular scene is disingenuous.

www.birminghammail.co.uk...

More to the point though, as none of those upstanding citizens are guaranteed to have come from another European country then Farage would be proud to see that people from outside of the EU are settling in the UK, that's what he wants...... isn't it?

How would you know they were "more or less the same location" if they "are simply nothing at all" like they were 30 years ago?

*sigh* nevermind, guess it just went over your head.

However I will ask why you think a picture from 9 years ago supports a comment about how an area looks today compared to 30 years ago.

Especially when you go onto compare it to a picture from 1959, which you tried to pass off as being 1970's.

AngryCymraeg

I guess you won't be happy until you hear that call to prayer blaring over the loud speakers at 5 am in England, you go to the pool and see it segregated and no bikinis.

You'll look around and see any traces of your own culture has been replaced and modern day society resembles 200 ad.

Oh well, at least you could proudly say "my culture and way of life is gone, but at least I was tolerant, not xenophobic and trendy; and despite the fact that I'm treated as a second class citizen is a small price to pay for this strength that is diversity"

You people are CLUELESS, and possibly even hate your own race and culture.

Oooh are we doing labels.
You are paranoid, bitter and racist.

The hypocrisy is ridiculous;

*goes to live in muslim country*
*comes back and cries about muslims living in his country*

The fact is, I had to live there, and came back home as soon as possible.

That's not hypocrisy, as I came home and was only there on a work visa.

I'll tell you this, I learned about them, something you haven't done.

You want them here, how will they benefit our society?

So basically it was all buzzwords and catchphrases to incite the crowd reaction with little actual content.

I can see why the simple-minded people love Trump rallies.

You're the simple minded one if that's all you had taken from his speech

ETA: I am a bit disappointed that he is speaking at a Trump rally, mind you, I don't much like Clinton either, and at this point Trump is looking like the lesser of two evils.
