Yuppa's Prose of note.(poems that is)

Well It was suggested I start a thread here so here goes. I like to write poetry from time to time. parodies as well. So who better to share some of them with my friends here on ATS? OH i do so love to blather on and be as verbose as citizen V at times but i digress. Anyway here is th efirst of many poems i will post below. Enjoy the read.

Wanderer of the starry night.

Behold. the brilliance of the star in flight.
Winding its way across the endless void.
Brightly it shines in the light of its place in the heavens.

Oh wandering star how you inspire!
Giving dreams to all who glimpse such beauty.
transcending this temporary vessel such as I.

Will I too become a wandering star one day?
Verily i wish it to be so!
so as to walk the infinite void along side you.
Into the stars we all must eventually go.


I wrote this originally in another thread. its hard to describe what i was feeling other than wishing for something.

"Crimson fades"

walking in the snow ...under a grey tinted sky.
crimson colors the ground bright and vibrant
Breaths of air escape trembling lips and utter apologies

bodies grow stiff as life comes to an end
hands covered with such heavy sin
life has left on this cold winters day..
Nothing to do but fade away.

"Liars"

Politicians..ever deceitful and cunning.
Always smiling and shaking hands.
Portraying the innocent sheep when they are wolves.
Liars one and all.

All for themselves,and never the weak..
Stepping on the poor as well as the meek..
backroom deals and evil deeds..
I tire of these charlatans and vicious thugs.
best place for Liars is under the rug.

I stare at your picture...and study your smile
It is so bright and cheerful..and full of hope..
i can count the freckles on your face..
every line and curve i trace..
As you look at his face..

I watch from a distance.. just out of reach.
wondering why it cannot be me who you smile at..
why cant it be me you laugh with? or grow old with.
I hate this feeling I have inside.
For inside me is a hole that cannot be filled unless its by you...
I remain Un-fulfilled.

Absolutely wonderful interpretation of heart an soul my friend. The only thing that tops the feelings of writing, wonderous and extravagant as they are, is being able to share them I say. Poetic pieces of magistracy they are, very hopeful I am for more of your eloquent and illustrious musings my friend.
