What is Your Favorite Thing Ever?

Mom used to read me a story as a kid about the pie elves. I remember them leaving foot tracks from a Blueberry pie they were eating, so I always asked Mom to make me a blueberry pie for my birthday, and she did for over 45 years. She passed at 83 a few years ago, or she would have made me another a few days ago. My Mom was awesome

My little nephews (all under 2).

And in the future, my own kids.

Besides the obvious stuff like family and friends and cars, I love new socks.

New socks of all types and textures. I especially love toe socks.

I'm wanting to find some mohair toe socks.

It's just too bad that the lifespan of a pair of socks is usually about a month or so with me.

I'm an elf. I can bake you a blueberry pie.

My favourite 'thing' is a memory of riding my jet-ski into Poole harbour late on a very warm evening and looking at the fun fair lights in the distance as we came in. It was magical and so beautiful.

That was the 'thing' but my real favourites are everyday things when my family are relaxing all together on a Sunday morning and we all have coffee whilst deciding what to do - if anything. Sharing the couch with the wife watching something good on the tv that we both enjoy. Listening to my music, taking the car to either our local henge or a cliff top and having a moon lit picnic. Swimming, reading and our beautiful cat Clarissa with a decent sleep coming as the glue to keep my world turning.

The joy of getting older is that the rush and bustle has died down and I have time to enjoy these things.

Hmm, I don't think I have a single favorite thing. Maybe "knowledge"? Or Nature/Creation?

Yes and how woud your husband feel about that? But besides that You could just leave it on the doorstep and do some little little footsteps around it, with a couple bites out of it, and never tell the Hubby
