Nudity

Well other than the fact that clothing has a practical purpose (staying warm and protecting our skin), if public nudity was allowed it would be abused.. DUH. Some people would get off on being naked in public, others would masturbate, and what the hell do you do if you're naked and you get an unwelcome erection... Would nudity also be allowed in schools then? How would hormonal teenagers handle this? Honestly, who ever asked this... Have you undergone a lobotomy recently?

Between a husband and wife (or consenting couple) whats wrong with a tease?
If it weren't for teases, strip clubs would close up shop overnight.

Honestly, I know some chicks out there take it too far (and wrongly so) but seriously?

I remember once we met some friends at the beach who happened to have an american woman visiting them.

It was just a normal beach, not one of the nude ones we sometimes go to. But on the "normal" beach, women go topless.
She was shocked and going on about no way was anyone going to be ogling my bewbies and getting all excited....

Seems she didn't notice that the men around weren't paying more attention to the boobs than they would if they were in a bathing suit. In fact, I've talked of this subject with lots of french men, and they say it is when they are covered up that it is more attention grabbing.

This one photographer told of how he once spent hours photographing a woman in the nude. Then afterwards, she dressed and they decided to have a coffee. As she was leaning over to pour the coffee, her blouse gave a teasing impression he might be able to see underneath, and he couldn't help looking. It was terribly exciting- which he said was weird because he'd been looking at her nude up to then without than strength of effect!

The power of nudity is strengthened by the taboo. Humans have that fascination/perversion for that which is hidden, the mysterious, and the darkness which stimulates the imagination.

Because i so often see it is women who are against public nudity, I can't help but wonder if it is not a deep desire to retain a strong sexual power over men. Because contrary to the claim that they don't want men to feel attracted and pay attention, it has exactly that effect! A low neckline on a blouse pulls more attention for longer time, than if there was no top!

So you'd rather keep the mind control over your husband and men in general by using your manipulation of sexuality as leverage rather than allow humanity to mature naturally and free from selfish manipulative methods by denying and rewarding their response to sexual stimuli.

The Declaration of Independance says each person has the right to life, the 14th Amendment supports this but there is nothing supporting the banning of nudity. In fact, it can be argued that it's supported since it is a part of Freedom of Expression (an Amendment)

So. Nothing about murder in the Constitution. Nothing about theft. Nothing about child abuse.
Since, like nudity, these things are not mentioned in the Constitution laws concerning them are arguably unconstitutional.

(By the way, does the constitution say anything about dress codes or diet laws? Because if not, it can even be argued that such rules are unconstitutional).

BTW, I agree that being arrested for being naked is stupid. How do you feel about flashers in school yards? Self expression?

Fair enough, hard to "read" brevity online. Too much internet for me....and too much time over the years watching good guys get hosed over by dipsy dames. I'm jaded towards "some girls" as well, that's the tomboy in me talking. They do abuse you guys more than they rightfully should.

Many moons ago, before Catholicism had been spread all over Europe like a diseased peanut butter across an otherwise wholesome slice of granary bread, the cultures and traditions which held sway over the place allowed for much naked cavorting, particularly at certain festivals, or just for the hell of it.

But the changes in culture that came with the Catholic spread, drew a more conservative veil over proceedings from that point onward. Now, today many locations in Europe and in nations which are run largely by those of European ancestry, have an issue with nudity which COULD be seen as a hold over from that period. Personally speaking, I do not go about nude because I have respect for my fellow human beings, and am aware that the sight of my hairy naked self, would put even the strongest stomached individual in the hospital, faster than you can say "Uncontrollable vomit spasm".

Particularly at the time of year that we are rapidly approaching, I find wearing clothing to be both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, if I was not to wear clothes about the place, I would get sunburn in places I do not want to get sunburned, regardless of how much factor 50 I plaster onto myself. On the other hand, I get really, REALLY hot and sweaty during summer which I hate. I do not mind WORKING for a sweat, but sweating buckets just because I am upright and breathing has always annoyed the hell out of me. Perhaps less clothing would help?

Either way, I would not, if given the choice, wear nothing when out and about. I would not be able to do my job wearing nothing, because burning hot metal shards would get lodged in the hairs on my...well everywhere really, and that really does not bare thinking about (see what I did there?). Another thing is, I would not, knowing what I know about the human body, want to sit on a bus, train, in a cab, or even on a sofa, that has had other buttocks on it.

Another thing to consider is that walking about naked might very well be "safe" for a fellow like me, but there are scumbags in the world who might take advantage of the lack of clothing worn by ladies to abuse their dignity and their bodies with greater ease than might otherwise be the case. Understand, that is a terrible thing to consider, but it is also realistic. It should not be that way, but it actually IS that way, and we have to deal with what is happening in the world, not what should be, unfortunately.
