This is what it boils down to indeed. In this country we are raised to not only worship $$$$ but also to separate ourselves as much as we can. We are raised to think highly of doctors and other people who are the extreme definition of conformist but to not give two hoots about the people who take away our trash or work in raw sewage plants ( just examples ).

In America, people don't know ( for the most part of course ) how to find happiness in anything other then money. Spending money, counting money, saving money it's all about $$$$$$$$.
